Description:Leads and directs Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company’s employee and leadership communications, along with Executive Communications for key members of Executive Leadership Team.

Lead a team that develops and executes communication strategies supporting business objectives; responsible for ensuring that all articles, mass emails, videos and other internal campaign materials are fully coordinated and aligned with company and corporate strategies, and integrated with program and functional objectives.

Provide leadership oversight to ensure consistent messages and processes for all internal communications, including online, print, electronic/digital and face-to-face. Manage content of Aeronautics’ intranet site and closed circuit television network “Aero TV.”

Provide leadership and direction for direct report employees and matrixed employees at major Aeronautics sites.

Ensure all internal communications products are of the highest quality and are properly coordinated with Corporate Communications and all Aeronautics sites.

Provide executives/leaders with tools and opportunities to drive culture change and position the enterprise for success.

Develop strategies, initiatives and high-level messages for use with external and internal audiences.

Collaborate with the president’s executive team and subject matter experts on employee and leadership communications, industry and community speeches and presentations and other business engagements.

Position all executives to tell the company story and build credibility as industry thought leaders.

Key responsibilities include:

• Strategically manage/direct executive and employee Communications by providing leadership, direction and ensuring full integration/coordination for all internal communications across Lockheed Martin Aeronautics
• Determine organizational objectives and ensure compliance with all company policies
• Develop effective, sustaining relationships with leaders and employees
• Responsible for the development and execution of enterprise executive and employee communications plans for the business area including intranet sites, newsletters & internal memorandums
• Responsible for employee development, recruitment, hiring/training/assessment
• Support special corporate, Aeronautics or site assignments as required

MUST BE U.S. CITIZEN or legally authorized to work in US as a permanent resident. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

This position is in Fort Worth, TX  Discover Fort Worth.
Basic Qualifications:
• Extensive experience in employee communications and strategic/integrated communications planning

• Experience writing memos, speeches and content for websites and/or social media platforms

• Experience leading employees or teams
Desired Skills:
• Bachelor's Degree in one of the following disciplines: PR, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, English or equivalent experience/combined education, with professional experience and specialized training commensurate with assignment

• 15+ years of experience

• Proven leadership, interpersonal and team skills

• Superior writing and verbal communication skills

• Ability to multi-task and work well under deadline pressure

• A proven track record of vision, creative thinking and effective decision-making

• Ability to cultivate and maintain a close working relationship with Aeronautics and Corporate Communicators, along with site and program executives/leaders

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
