Senior General Attorney

Description:This attorney position, located in Fort Worth, Texas, provides legal support to programs and staff functions regarding a wide range of transactional, as well as statutory and regulatory compliance matters.

The major responsibilities are to advise senior leadership, supply chain management and program managers on issues associated with both U.S. Government and international business and to meet business goals, mitigate legal risk and ensure compliance with the laws and regulations affecting our business.

The major focus areas are Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) compliance, procurement and supply chain terms and conditions, required reporting to government agencies associated with U.S. Government contracts and international business, and related matters.

The attorney will work closely with other staff functions including Ethics, Human Resources, Business Development, and Process Integrity to develop and manage programs and processes to identify ongoing or new compliance responsibilities, train company employees, and to monitor and report company activities as required.

This attorney must demonstrate superior judgment and work product for matters of significant complexity, and be a self-starter, able to work semi-autonomously. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills are essential.
Basic Qualifications:
JD degree from accredited law school

Admitted to practice in at least one US state

5+ years' experience with a law firm or government agency legal department relating to statutory and regulatory compliance matters (FCPA, Federal Acquisition Regulations and agency supplements).
Desired Skills:
Familiarity with U.S.Government contracting, post-government employment and conflict of interest reviews, internal investigations and due diligence reviews.
