Safety & Health Manager

Description:The Safety and Health Manager is responsible for the development and implementation of safety and health programs at the Fort Worth Air Force Plant 4, Beach St. Campus and surrounding locations.

Lead and direct a staff of 14 safety and health professionals charged with risk mitigation in aerospace manufacturing, construction and flight line operations.

Manage budget and staff training needs.

Represent safety and health organization with regulatory agencies and DoD.

Focus on continuous improvement and drive strategic initiatives.

Position may require individual to work outside scheduled shift hours to include nights and weekends.

MUST BE A US CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in an ESH-related field.

Experience planning workload and allocating tasks across a team.

Experience using ESH management systems (ISO 14001/45001).

Experience working with regulatory agencies or DoD agencies.

Experience working in union environments.
Desired Skills:
Masters degree in a related field of study such as Safety Engineering, Occupational Safety, Public Health, etc.

Professional certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM).

Experience with leading ESH management system elements, such as ISO 14001/45001.

Aerospace Manufacturing, Aviation Safety, Construction or Flight Line Operations experience.
