You will be the RF Engineer Senior -Level 3 for the team which is responsible for advancing RF technology across our product portfolio.
What You Will Be Doing
As the RF Engineer Senior- Level 3 you will be responsible for developing hardware and/or software components, defining technical requirements with suppliers, and ensuring quality compliance while partnering with cross‑functional product teams.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Develop hardware and software components for cutting‑edge RF solutions.
- Define technical requirements and negotiate deliverables with external suppliers.
- Ensure quality compliance and adherence to project schedules.
- Partner with product teams to translate business needs into reliable, scalable designs.
- Lead integration of innovative solutions across the product portfolio.

Further Information About This Opportunity
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to start.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in systems/electrical engineering or related Degree
• Background in hardware and/or software design and development

• Experience with Requirements
• Experience with Design & Integration
• Experience with Supplier Management
• Cross‑functional collaboration skills
• Highly organized and detail‑oriented, with the capacity to manage multiple workstreams and documentation artifacts simultaneously
• Willingness and ability to travel approximately every other month (or ~ 15 % of time)
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
