Lockheed Martin's Advanced Development Programs (The Skunk Works) is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic RF Engineering/Research Scientist to be a part of a team that will carry on our 75 year tradition making history in advanced aircraft development.

In this role, we are seeking a candidate who can:
- demonstrate knowledge of RF communication system tradeoffs in terms of performance and complexity

- define, design, implement, and test novel RF systems to detect, identify, and track adversary aircraft

- work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with a team of talented research engineers to bring ideas to fruition

-multi-task, manage priorities, and communicate effectively using verbal and written skills

-pursue intellectual property (e.g., patents, trade secrets, etc.)

The successful candidate must have demonstrated effective communication skills as the position will require frequent inter-organizational and external customer interactions. The ability to travel, on occasion, for integration and test activities is required.

*** Must have the ability to operate in an SCI and SAP environment. Must have a Top Secret clearance or up to date SSBI. Must have MS or PhD.***
Basic Qualifications:
MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering or related discipline

Experience with warfighters RF and EO/IR mission systems and current technology in these areas

Image and signal processing background for processing of sensor data along with an Artificial Intelligence /Machine Learning background
Desired Skills:
Ability to code in C/C++, Matlab, and Matlab Simulink
