Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking full-time Project Manager & Operations Planner for the Sustainment Integrated Tools and Engineering team. In this role, the selectee will work as a material cost account planner and manager across a wide range of scopes in direct support of Lockheed Martin’s customers. This role includes leading, planning, budgeting, and managing the cost/schedule/technical performance for each assigned Control Account (CA). This role is in support of a core Earned Value Management System within Lockheed Martin.

The selectee will also be responsible for:
• Lead the baselining and management of material budget and providing cost and schedule oversight and control of that throughout the year.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify cost, schedule and technical risks, issues and opportunities.
• Manage financial accuracy and reporting alignment with corporate and government required earned value management processes, policies and reporting
• Provide weekly/monthly EV reporting and baseline/variance change requests to support the business rhythm and contractual deliverables
• Manage and support material planning and purchase order management for materials needed for process and production processes.
• Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and suppliers to identify and document risks, opportunities and
• Present, brief and discuss risks, issues, opportunities and status to varying levels of leadership and government

Basic Qualifications:
• Experience in Financial Management and/or cost accounting
• Working knowledge of Cost‑management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Costpoint)
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, macros) and/or data‑visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
• Project‑management experience (e.g., PMP certification).
Desired Skills:
• Experience preparing cost reports for senior leadership and supporting audits.
• Knowledge of compliance requirements relevant to the industry (e.g., DoD FAR, ITAR, ISO standards) is advantageous.
• Skilled at root‑cause analysis of cost variances and presenting actionable insights.
• Experience in cost‑estimation software, ERP systems(SAP, Oracle), and data‑analytics tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI) to manage and analyze cost data
• Experience in risk, issue and opportunity identification and management.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
