This role is for the Network Administrator for the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) ALIS ALOU at the Lockheed Martin factory in Fort Worth, TX. The Network Administrator is responsible for the oversight and daily maintenance of all network appliances at the ALIS centralized Autonomic Logistics Operating Unit (ALOU) and serves as the primary point of contact for any issues stemming from these systems. This role provides solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity.
The ALIS Network Administrator responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Providing customer service and technical assistance to the end users on operation, use, and maintenance of mission essential network equipment and environment hardware
• Providing tiered troubleshooting of IT systems and network equipment using network
schematics, diagrams, and other documentation
• Executing day to day data center network operations
• Maintaining data center infrastructure, material condition, and inventory of program hardware
• Performing server stack upkeep/maintenance and data center cleaning
• Maintaining proper inventories of operational ALOU and out of band equipment
• Maintaining keyed crypto devices
• Troubleshooting using system logs to diagnose communication issues
• Performing all required operations in a secured facility
This is an operational support role, the selected candidate may be required to be on call, work rotating shifts, and work over 40 hours per week — which may include weekends — as dictated by mission requirements.
*The successful candidate must possess and retain DoD IAT Level II certification (e.g. Security+, CySA+, CND, or CCNA Security).

Basic Qualifications:
-Background in Information Technology systems
-Networking experience.
-Possess and retain DoD IAT Level II certification (e.g. Security+, CySA+, CND, or CCNA Security).
Desired Skills:
-Best candidates will hold an active DoD Secret clearance with a background investigation closure date within the last 5 years and be eligible to attain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) access.
- Holds Security+, CySA+, or CCNA Security certification
- Holds Certifications in the following Environments: MS-, X-Windows, Linux, CCNA
- Demonstrated ALIS Network / System Administration experience
- Network administrator experience with experience in Layer 2 and 3 Networking
- Experience in development of Standard Operating Procedures and training material
- Spanning technology in switches
- Crypto communications / COMSEC experience
- Disaster recovery: backups and restores of physical servers (Win2012) and virtual machines
- Data center maintenance and infrastructure management
- Systems administration experience with servers and network installations/integrations
- Extensive ops and troubleshooting experience with Unix, Linux, Windows operating systems and network hardware (e.g., Juniper/Cisco switches, routers, firewalls, NetApp Storage, and Net Optics taps)
- Demonstrated ability to analyze intrusion detection system networks
- Hardware/system monitoring of physical and virtual servers
- Upgrading system hardware and startup/shutdown of rack components
- Applying operating system updates, antivirus/anti-spyware updates, and patch updates to appliances
- JBOSS (WildFly) Application Server Familiarity
- Working knowledge of Netapp and EMC Networked Attached Storage (NAS) systems and supported protocols
- Flexibility and willingness to support dynamic mission requirements
- Familiarity with Lockheed Martin products and processes, to include the JSF ALIS hardware and software
- Prior fighter aircraft maintenance experience

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
