Job ID: 570510BR Date posted: Sep. 27, 2021 Locations: Fort Worth, Texas Description:This exciting Junior System Engineer position is with the Lockheed Martin Skunk Works Mission Systems and Software Comms team located in Fort Worth, Texas. The candidate will learn/use modern/cutting edge technical standards, principles, theories, concepts, and techniques which will be leveraged for developing the software and hardware solutions for complex modern aircraft and battlespaces. Within the Advanced Development Programs (ADP) business area of Lockheed Martin, the use of Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS), innovative technologies, cutting edge ideas and out of the box thinking is the standard.

The Skunk Works (Lockheed Martin Advanced Development Program) is looking for talented and energetic individuals to become a part of a dynamic high energy team carrying on the 70+ year tradition and production of advanced aircraft and battlespace solutions.

The candidate will become familiar with the technology development lifecycle, including requirements generation, system/software design and system/software implementation, along with integration and flight test. The integration activities will include a multitude of host systems, such as live assets, ground stations, simulated systems, and laboratory environments.

The successful candidate needs to be self-motivated pro-active with a strong work ethic, excellent time-management, along with interpersonal and communication skills. The position requires frequent interactions with inter-organizational representatives as well as internal and external customers. Some travel is required.

Experience with data links and comms, Open Mission Systems architectures, integrated development environments, networking, embedded systems, requirements generation, and systems interface development is highly desired.

In addition, any work experience with embedded architectures, single board computers, hardware and software in the loop, and F-35 Mission Systems is a plus.

The successful candidate will need to pass a security screening before interview.
