This position provides planning/scheduling support for the F-35 Strategic Planning team on Joint Strike Fighters Program.

Integral to Lockheed Martin's Program Management & Enterprise Performance, it organizes tasks for mission success, scheduling design, development, and sustainability of products. It breaks down products into tasks, sets sequences & durations, ensuring on-time, in-budget, desired quality outcomes. Summary of Key Duties
This position provides planning and scheduling support for the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter Program, delivering day-to-day leadership to the F-35 Strategic Planning team. The candidate for this role exercises leadership across near-term through long-range PP&I initiatives and leads the team in delivering integrated program planning support for Customer Programs and Industrial Participation. The position serves as the subject matter expert (SME) for scheduling related to existing and new customer integration, site activation and industrial capability stand-ups. Responsibilities include leading the integration and assessment of schedule impacts resulting from contract and/or customer scope changes across both current and future program plans.
Additionally, this role ensures scheduling practices are consistently applied and actively coordinated across all levels with related functional disciplines. This position works closely with a broad range of program organizations, including program management, business development, engineering, contracts, supply chain management, and business management.
***Must be a US Citizen. Must have an Active Secret Security Clearance; must have the ability to maintain Secret clearance.
A level 5 employee Typically has 9 - 15years of professional experience in planning, program management and/or, finance.

Basic Qualifications:
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
• Demonstrated critical thinking and problem solving abilities
• Experienced at developing/maintaining Network Schedules including integrity checks, critical path analysis, and Schedule Risk Analysis
• Experiences delivering project briefings to internal and external customers
• Experiences with Earned Value Management (EVM) including Cost / Schedule Integration
• Demonstrated team building skills
• Demonstrated influencing and relationship management skills
• Bachelors degree
• 8+ years of professional experience in operational planning or scheduling
• Proficient with scheduling tools such as Open Plan, Primavera, MS Project, or ProjectView
Desired Skills:
• Degree in Construction Management, Program Management, Business Administration
• Experience with networked schedules, integrity checks, and critical path methodology.
• Experience with Schedule Performance Management Techniques, e.g. Earned Value Management
• Demonstrated critical thinking and problem solving abilities
• Previous experience with Deltek OpenPlan
• Excellent Communication and Organizational skills
• Experience as a planning team lead and/or contract planner
• Proposal experience
• Strong knowledge of LM Program Performance Management (PPM) Command Media
• Schedule Risk Assessment (SRA) experience
• Active Secret Security Clearance; ability to maintain Security Clearance

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
