Lead ALIS Systems Engineer

Description: Perform Lead Systems Engineer role for the enterprise Sustainment systems with a strong focus on the Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS). Act as the primary technical POC to oversee development and sustainment activities involving ALIS design, development, and modernization interface with LM RMS, JPO, BAE, and F-35 Services/Partners. In this capacity, the successful candidate will provide overall Air System leadership and systems engineering management support for the ALIS product life cycle, including new development, deployment, and sustainment. Candidate will provide system design leadership and coordination across the release process including customer interface, cost, and schedule adherence and technical performance for this complex product. Selected individual will lead and coordinate multiple Air Systems teams to define, evaluate and approve comprehensive requirements derivation and design implementation suitability while coordinating activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling, and resolving engineering design, implementation and test problems. Candidate will direct the conversion of customer and product requirements into total systems solutions. Candidate will manage the functional / timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation, data definitions and management and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software requirements and specifications for targeted product release offerings.
Desired Skills: Knowledge of Agile development processes.

Program management and subcontract management experience.

Knowledge and experience in coordinating complex issues across multiple disciplines to reach resolution across the entire design cycle of requirements definition, design, test, verification and delivery.

Ability to interface across customer and internal teams to drive solutions and be able to effectively communicate at multiple levels of users and leadership.

Ability to concisely summarize inputs into presentation formats that facilitate efficient communication to internal, external and Program executive leadership.
Basic Qualifications: - Experience with the ALIS system and enterprise interfaces and data.

- Experience with end-user maintenance operations and logistics

- Experience translating user needs into engineering requirements.

- Bachelors degree in an engineering/technical discipline.

- Secret security clearance.
