We’re looking for an experienced, forward-thinking RAMS Senior Manager to lead a high-performing engineering team supporting some of the most advanced aircraft platforms in the world—including the F-16, F-22, and Advanced Development Programs (ADP). In this strategic role, you’ll oversee the full lifecycle execution of Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, and Supportability (RAMS) products and services, with a focus on enabling mission success and driving innovation on the flight line.
You’ll lead a talented team of over 60 engineers across Fort Worth, TX and Palmdale, CA, ensuring technical excellence and customer satisfaction across multiple contracts, including the F-22 Performance Based Logistics (PBL) program.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and Inspire: Manage and develop a large, diverse team of skilled engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and technical excellence.
- Drive Strategy and Execution: Shape and execute short- and long-term strategies to align with customer priorities—focusing on predictive health, high reliability, condition-based maintenance, and advanced logistics support.
- Be the Voice of RAMS: Serve as the single point of contact for IFG and ADP RAMS activities, coordinating with internal stakeholders and cross-functional partners to ensure consistent performance and delivery.
- Deliver Impact Across the Enterprise: Collaborate with other Lockheed Martin business areas to drive enterprise-wide RAMS best practices and integrated solutions.
- Engage with Customers and Industry Partners: Build strong relationships with government stakeholders and external program partners; support proposal efforts, work estimates, and negotiations.
- Ensure Technical Excellence: Oversee the end-to-end execution of RAMS deliverables—from field performance analysis and maintenance task development to tech publications support and logistics engineering.
- Enable Flight Line Readiness: Lead initiatives that support high-velocity supply systems, reduce downtime, and maximize availability for warfighters worldwide.

Basic Qualifications:
• Must be a U.S. Citizen and the ability to obtain special access required
• Bachelor’s degree or higher with relevant technical experience.
• Experience with managing earned value management techniques and meeting cost, schedule and quality commitments
• Experience fostering customer relationships
• Experience in leading complex global and/or diverse teams.
Desired Skills:
• 15 years of Reliability or Maintainability experience.
• 10+ years of experience working multiple platforms
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to obtain SAPF security clearances.
• Excellent leadership skills and demonstration of all the tenants of Full Spectrum Leadership
• Effective task organization and communication skills
• Experience with operational excellence (continuous improvement) capability.
• Experience leveraging risk management processes to manage emerging challenges.
• The leader must have executive presence and be able to brief to senior customers and internal stakeholders.
• Experience supporting a government customer.
• Experience in leading technical talent and building pipelines to sustain technical expertise within the organization.
• Demonstrated ability to mature and transition technology
• Wide variety of customer experience
• Demonstrated business acumen and understanding of connectivity and support of Sustainment to the overall success of the business.
• Adept at working within matrix organizations for successful execution.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills are a must. The successful candidate will be required to communicate technical status and issues internally to program leadership, technical leadership and functional leadership as well as externally to the customer.
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate solutions that produce a positive outcome with a variety of internal and external stakeholders

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
