What You Will Be Doing
This position will support the F-35 Senior Manager – Business Operations for F-35 Development Programs in the overall business management of this contract portfolio. A broad range of business acumen will be required for this position including a familiarity of business processes associated with Proposals, Contracts, Estimating, Financial Planning, Independent Cost Estimating and others. This candidate will provide overall financial oversight associated with new proposals, ensuring assigned contracts have a sound cost / financial baselines, conducting financial risk assessments and ensuring accurate financial forecasts. This position will also support the establishment of the program ground rules to support Estimate-at-Completion (EAC) planning and will support the submittal of contractual Contract Data Requirement List (CDRL) deliverables including Cost Performance Reports (CPR), Contract Funding reports (CFSR) and others. Other responsibilities will include the identification of areas for cost improvement and support the implementation of recommended corrective actions, develop and monitor program termination liability and funding forecasts, and prepare and conduct Contract Status Reviews on program financial status. Communication skills; both verbal and oral, will be key to success in this position since this individual will be required to coordinate across multiple program and functional competencies.

You are a strategic and analytical finance leader with experience in program financial management, forecasting, cost analysis, contract performance, and business operations within complex program environments. Leveraging expertise in proposals, contracts, estimating, financial planning, and cost management, you provide financial oversight, assess risks, develop accurate forecasts, and deliver actionable insights that support informed decision-making and program success.
You excel at collaborating across program, engineering, contracts, estimating, and finance organizations to drive business objectives and ensure strong financial performance. A strong communicator and problem-solver, you can translate complex financial data into meaningful recommendations, support customer reporting requirements, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. You thrive in dynamic environments where leadership, business acumen, and financial expertise are essential to achieving successful outcomes.
Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications:
Experience with Earned Value (EV) applications.
Experience with US Government reporting requirements, i.e. Cost Performance Reports (CPR), Contract Fund Status Reports (CFSR), etc.
Experience with contract / proposal processes and procedures.
Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) / Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR).
Desired Skills:
Familiarity with LM Aeronautics business systems including SAP, CostView/COBRA, ADAR, Hyperion and others.
Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) - working knowledge of Orders, Sales, Earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) and Cash
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Bachelor’s degree or higher with 13+ years or more of professional experience
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
