We are seeking a Staff Facilities Engineer that plans, designs and oversees the reconfiguration, maintenance, and alteration of equipment, machinery, buildings, structures, and other facilities in Fort Worth TX.

Summary of Key Duties for this position:
• You will gather and review data concerning facility or equipment specifications, company or government restrictions, required completion date, and construction feasibility.
• You will coordinate with architecture/engineering firms in developing design criteria and preparing layout and detail drawings.
• Prepare bid sheets and contracts for construction and facilities acquisition.
• Review and estimates design costs including equipment, installation, labor, materials, preparation, and other related costs.
• You will Inspect or directs the inspection of construction and installation progress to ensure conformance to established drawings, specifications, and schedules.

Position is working with LM Aero permanent party supporting the utility and plantametrics effort for LM Aero. Candidate must be capable of working independently to represent LM Space as an entity within the LM Aero organization. Candidate must be capable of working as a LM Space team member as part of the overall LM Space support to LM Aero.

Typically has 9 - 15 years of professional experience.

Basic Qualifications:
-Experience planning, designing and overseeing the reconfiguration, maintenance, and alteration of equipment, machinery, buildings, structures.
-Ability to understand base map/grid location design and creation for tracking metrics on whole site plans.
-Ability to accomplish goals set forth utilizing a team approach between Utility Locating Services, Surveying Teams and A&E Support.
-Ability to reestablish utility corridors to provide direction to those team members.
Desired Skills:
Utility and Utility engineering experience. GPS locations, Maximo EAM and Bentley Projectwise Experience. Microstation Experience. Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) applications such as Revit. Familiarity with LM Buildings application. Knowledge and Experience in the creation of, the uploading, and maintaining Microstation and AutoCad drawings in TriRiga/Cad Systems. Knowledge of the creation of and maintaining all Poly-lines and Space addresses for LMBuildings application. Knowledge of establishing and and maintaining data elements associated with the Poly-lines and Space addresses for LMBuildings,. Knowledge of the creation and delivery of data reports. Experience in the testing and validating of data in LMBuildings
