The F-35 Ground Support Equipment team is seeking highly qualified applicants for a position as an F-35 GSE Equipment Manager at the Fort Worth, Texas, Beach St. facility.

Successful candidate will serve on a team of Equipment Managers (EM) for the F-35 Ground Support Equipment (GSE) product line. SE is used to sustain all variants of the Joint Strike Fighter (F-35A/F-35B/F-35C), for both ashore and afloat operating environments. The successful candidate will already have experience in the F-35 SE product line as well as relevant experience with the F-35 Global Sustainment structure and processes. The EM works in support of the SE Field Ops Sustainment Team to provide cradle-to-grave management of F-35 SE. Primary job duties include sustainment and problem resolution relative to specifically assigned SE product line. Additional duties include: reviewing field support requirements and recommending tools and ground support equipment for organizational level aircraft maintenance; evaluating support equipment designs and identifying level of repair and required support resources to include identifying spares (what to provision); updating Bill of Materials (BOM) consistent with released manuals or engineering data, and then inputting the data in Excel or similar data tools; identifying scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks including calibration requirements for field systems/equipment; performing maintenance and maintainability demonstrations for customers; reviewing supplier operations and maintenance manuals for technical adequacy; providing logistics input and criteria to assist engineering develop supportable and maintainable designs; contributing to proposal and special project efforts. The candidate will work with their respective product air vehicle design teams to develop/vet new GSE requirements. The EM will also support the F-35 GSE Sustainment Engineering team to resolve operational and technical issues affecting their product line. Candidate will be required to conduct familiarization of equipment theory and operation to LM employees operating at F-35 field ops locations, or to the customer during day to day operations. May require infrequent travel to F-35 field ops locations to conduct equipment familiarization classes, or support F-35 SE Sustainment needs on both land and ship-based F-35 operations.

Successful candidate must be willing to accept additional job duties that emerge as the F-35 SE Sustainment operation evolves. Duties may include support of F-35 SE Ops Center, supply, technical data management, and various other needs within the organization. While primarily operating on first shift, candidates must be willing to support work requirements on any shift, should the need arise, to include infrequent weekend work.

Must live, or be able to relocate to Fort Worth, TX in order to assume this role.
Basic Qualifications:
-Requires extensive background in aviation ground support equipment maintenance / sustainment industry within the USMC / USAF / USN
- Experience using or maintaining F-35 support equipment;
-Working knowledge of JSF Global Sustainment structure & processes;
-Able to brief small or large groups;
-Strong written and verbal communication skills;
-Must be able to travel as necessary to support position; Sometimes on short notice;
-Must have working knowledge of Enterprise-Level Information Management systems;
- Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office Software; i.e. Excel, Access, Word, Power Point;
Desired Skills:
- Active US DoD Secret clearance
- Prior military flightline maintenance experience in AGE / GSE sustainment preferred.
-Background in unit (“O”) level Military weapons/ordnance operations, maintenance and, support
- Keen ability to be a self-starter
-Ability to work jointly with the customer and teammates to identify solutions that meet both Government’s and industry’s needs;
-Experience with post aircraft & equipment delivery data Management;
-Must be able to multitask;
-Must be able to work effectively in stressful environment;
-Ability to collaborate with and integrate multi-functional teams
- Support Equipment data management experience with ALIS CMMS & LSEMS considered a plus;
- Familiarity with DoD maintenance manuals;
- Experience with military flight line aircraft maintenance practices
- Strong personal work ethic and maintenance quality mindset.
