Job Responsibilities
Description:We are Lockheed Martin
You will be the Software Engineer Principal for the IMIS Software Integration team which is responsible for delivering mission critical software solutions for the F 22 program.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Software Engineer Principal you will be responsible for shaping the end to end software delivery lifecycle and serving as the central liaison between engineering, program management, and customers.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Portfolio Integrator will tend to be outward facing (to Business Manager, PMO, Customer)
• Main interface to Program Management Office for future and current contract tasks
• Main interface to the F-22 LOB Chief Engineer's Office
• Coordinate and negotiate planned and final delivery content with Air System customers
• Provide primary interface point for delivery and issue discussions
• Works with first and second line functional leaders to identify program team staffing needs
• Collaborate with Senior Architects on IMIS tech stack, roadmap and incorporation into baseline products to include consideration of cost/schedule/technical impacts
• Provide program level guidance of capability teams establishing priorities, planning, mapping to releases and resolving conflicts
• Support long term and short term development planning
• Responsible for Software Build/Release Plan, Scheduling, and Execution Support including integration, testing and release with collaboration with the capability owners
• Direct build content and track delivery progress against plans, capacity, program objectives, configurations, and cross-product compatibility at the IMIS Enterprise Level
• Drive IMIS software integration and certification progress across the various labs and flight test environments with support from Workstream Leads
• Manage and communicate risk for assigned projects
• Coordinate proposal activity with capability backlog
• Work with functional CAMs on financial and contract scope of work
• Work with PMO and CAMs to identify funding for each capability

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to start.

Basic Qualifications:
• Active DoD Secret security clearance
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross functional teams
• Experience and/or knowledge of the Software Development Process
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or a related technical field.
Desired Skills:
• Experience with F-22 Ground Systems
• Familiarity with Agile/Scaled Agile Frameworks (SAFe) and their integration with traditional Earned Value practices in defense programs.
• Prior experience in the defense industry or related field
• Ability to manage, coach, train and motivate team in technical and strategic development
• Detailed Technical Planning experience/understanding
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
