Depot Operations Manager

Description:This position is Lockheed Martin's F-35 Depot Operations and Supportability Lead at Fort Worth, Texas. The position organizationally aligns with the Maintenance, Repair, Overhaul and Upgrade (MRO&U) team for F-35 Global Sustainment, reporting to the Depot Operations Senior Manager. The successful candidate will lead and manage the F-35 Depot Operations Supportability and Resource Management team. In addition, the successful candidate will support the Depot Operations Senior Manager in the management and leadership of CONUS and OCONUS Depot and DoN and International CFT Operations. This position will act as LM's primary liaison with equivalent partner and customer leadership for all planning, supportability, execution, and reporting of depot and CFT inducted aircraft implementing post-delivery modifications, repairs and inspections. Reviews and evaluates modification status reported by the team and provides feedback for continuous improvement. Ensures compliance with customer, company, and program procedures relative to aircraft maintenance, repair, and modifications. Provides site leadership with a complete sight picture for F-35 modification, retrofit, and upgrade development, support planning, integration, and implementation. Oversees timely funding to the Military Service Depot (MSD) and monitors MSD execution to the agreed schedule commitments. ***Must be willing to work extended shifts including holidays and weekends as required. Must be willing to travel to CONUS and OCONUS locations as required.***
Basic Qualifications:
- Proven technical leader capable of representing the Lockheed Martin (LM) position during recurring meetings with the senior leadership (military and civilian) at a Military Service Depot (MSD).

- Thorough understanding and experience with leading and coordinating all aspects of the Air Vehicle (AV) depot sustainment.

- Experienced in resources planning for technical project specifically, the activation of aircraft depot and CFT modification events.

- Experienced technical lead for depot level teams implementing modifications in the aerospace industry.

- Experienced staff leader capable of directing, coaching and developing LM team members located at the MSD.

- Extensive background in planning depot level maintenance/modifications and executing Time Compliance Technical Directives (TCTD) or similar Technical Directives.

- Demonstrate proficiency in MS Office applications.

- Sound understanding of in/out of scope work and the Over & Above and Delay and Disruption processes.

- Must possess a Bachelors degree or higher

- Direct experience as a Contractor Field Team or Mod Tech Lead and Resource Planning for Depot/CFT operations on the F-35 is be preferred

- Ability to interpret and execute policies and procedures that typically affect aircraft maintenance activities as related to US services and partner countries.

- Extensive project management experience with strong organizational and performance management skills.

- Experience and working knowledge with F-35 sustainment tools; Joint Technical Data (JTD), Product Data Manager (PDM), JSF Data Library (JDL), Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS), and Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) a plus.

- Knowledge and experience with F-35 program change/configuration management and associated change boards for processing change requests with retrofit implications.

- Extensive knowledge of USAF, AFMC, and NAVAIR instructions.

- Experience with developing Memorandum of Understanding/Agreement (MOU/A) for site/base specific mod support.

- Prior military service at multiple levels of maintenance, logistics, and support of 5th generation fighter aircraft preferred.
