Data Quality Integration Management Engineer, F-35 Program

Description:The selected candidate will be assigned as a Data Quality Integration Management (DQIM) On-Site Representative at the F-35 Operational site at Hill AFB, Utah.

This position will be responsible for lead responsibilities in supporting contract requirements associated with DQIM Site Support functions related to the prevention of Action Request (ARs) and any associated onsite DQIM data support at Hill AFB. This employee will interface regularly with Site Management, Production Operations, F-35 Program Office, F-35 Sustainment Engineering, Chief Engineers Office, Suppliers, LDM and other F-35 stakeholders to ensure requirements are addressed relative to Sustainment Data Product (SDP) quality and prevention/management of Action Requests (AR). Support Data Quality initiatives across the F-35 Program on SDP data flow, processes, and source systems and participate in development and continuous improvement of team processes, tools, workflows, documentation, and metrics.

A. The incumbent employee will undergo 3-6 months of On-the-Job-Training (OJT) before assignment to permanent place of employment at Hill AFB, Utah.

B. Will support Data Quality initiatives across the F-35 Program on SDP data flow, source systems and participate in development and continuous improvement of team processes, tools, workflows, documentation, and metrics.

C. Will support Sustainment Data Product (SDP) integration, research/analysis, processing, and handling data exchanges between Program Stakeholders and Systems, Suppliers, Teammates, Propulsion System Contractors, Internal Data Authors and Operational Sites.

Specific tasks include, but are not limited to:

1. Site Support interaction with customer support, Action Request (AR) prevention, resolution, review, analysis and decision making related to data accuracy and program processes relevant to support post-delivery of Aircraft and Non-Aircraft equipment or operational site stand-up and sustainment operations.

2. Perform data modeling, mapping, mining and Extraction, Transformation and Loading (ETL) activities.

3. Apply data quality forensics and participate in assessments of SDP and/or Supplier and unit data submissions.

4. Support coordination with assigned users, application teams, and DQIM EEL/Supplier Integration Team, to understand issues and needs; prioritizing, determining solutions for EEL AR prevention, and implementation of Data Quality or Action Requests (AR) resolution.

Provide Data knowledge and support for the following data products:

- Sustainment Data Build (SDB) – including As-Delivered Build Of Material
- Electronic Equipment Logbook (EEL)
- Reference and Initialization Data
- Quality Assurance Records (QAR) Data
- Configuration Management As-Built Data
- Sustainment Parts Information Record (SPIR)

5. Conduct data analysis and trend interpretation for developing statistical process control methods in support of aviation information and readiness reporting requirements.

6. Create reports using Microsoft Office for trend analysis and submit them to upper management to assist in making program decisions.

7. Participate in functional analysis, timeline analysis, structured improvement activities, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into system specifications.

Basic Qualifications:
Related experience must be in the following skill sets:
- Experience with Management and Manipulation of data using Microsoft Excel or Access
- Experience performing Data Extraction, Translation, Migration and Loads
- Experience performing data quality audits/verification
- Application of Data Profiling or Analysis techniques to establish patterns and trends
- Experience performing Configuration Management of data
- Experience with Aviation Environment and Equipment
Desired Skills:
The following skills are desired but not required:

- USAF/USMC and US Navy Aviation and Organizations
- Core Microsoft Office applications (to include MS Project)
- Working experience using F-35 ALIS applications (i.e. CMMS, CRM and LIST)

- Use of TeamCenter (PDM/LDM) to review and verify Design and Logistics Data

- First-hand experience using F-35 ATLAS application to extract and verify logistics data

- Development of Aircraft/Aviation System Bills-of-Material (BOM)/Structures

- Reading, Writing, and Applying Structured Query Language (SQL) to extract, process and manipulate data

- Reading, Interpreting, and Writing eXtensible Markup Language (XML)

- Hands-on knowledge with TeamCenter e-Cubed report builder

- Hands-on experience with Shop Floor Manager (SFM) System

- Hands-on experience with Quality Assurance Documentation System (QADS)

- Production Planning and/or Shop Floor Operations related to data or systems integration

-F35 ALIS:
· ALIS operations and schedulers course
· Oracle database fundamentals course
· Oracle system administration
· Analyst / Database administrator course

- Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and problem solving skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
