Description:This role is for a senior systems engineer on the Cyber Security Engineering (CSE) team. Primary responsibilities will include working across the CSE organization to identify gaps in Cyber competency development, understand the Cyber landscape to inform future strategy and new business opportunities, and lead special projects. The chosen candidate will be responsible for project planning and execution, research and development, and product transition plans of the work being performed.

Traditional Cyber Security and Resiliency has focused on the design and testing of secure traditional IT systems and tactical weapon system products. Today’s cyber threat is also focused on denying the use of a capability by affecting the integrity and availability of sustainment data and system readiness information. - Performing critical analyses of sustainment data products and information systems.

Specific responsibilities will include:
- Work across the Cyber Security Engineering teams to develop a unified strategy on research and development focus areas.
- Working across BAs and Cyber working groups to identify ways to improve Cyber across the corporation
- Lead workforce development initiatives to include training and development, workforce engagement, planning and delivery of special topics briefings, threat briefings.
- Project Engineer/Systems Engineer to drive the collection of IT, NBF, OH projects information and feed to various organizations to include CPO.
- Lead CSE special projects in the realm of sustainment, supply chain, production, engineering, workforce development, training, other as needed.

Must be a US citizen. This position requires special access and a Secret clearance to be considered.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline, such as computer science, electrical engineering, computer engineering, or software engineering.
- Experience supporting leadership in executing business rhythms and integrating work products across large organizations
- Strong Systems Engineering and/or Software Engineering background and experience with a focus on cyber-security solutions
- Experience leading projects that impact multiple teams and organizations.
- Experience creating and delivering presentations to senior-level executives and customers
Desired Skills:
- F-35/F-22/F-16 Program Experience in any of these domains (mission systems/vehicle systems/software)
- Considered a Change Agent
- Exposure to cyber security principles and compliance processes, to include Risk Management Framework (RMF), DIACAP, etc.
- Experience working on staff for a director-level or above
- Experience creating executive level presentations
- Experience as a technical or project/program lead of a diverse group
- Experience in EVMS, MS project schedule
- Demonstrated project engineering skills
- CISSP or Security+ certification
- Must be willing to mentor junior-level team members
