Description:This position reports to the Manager of Covert Operations of Lockheed Martin’s Red Team within the Corporate Information Security Intelligence, Readiness and Response (IR2) Organization.
Want to work with an elite cyber testing team and help code custom software, advanced capabilities, potential exploits, and more? The Lockheed Martin Red Team is looking for a savvy software developer to jump into several existing development projects and also kickoff many new ones. In addition to being around and involved with a team that conducts cyber hacking as their core task, this role helps further enable the Red Team by augmenting existing coding capabilities in many focus areas and with the desire for this role to eventually lead software development activities across the team. The main assignment involves developing in the Red Teams second generation mission management and workflow system Forge – a custom built system that tracks and manages all cyber testing activities, mission results, data, status, etc. Large focus on developing new enhancements, making additional, or any necessary adjustments based on the teams continued advancements in capabilities, scope, and work tempo. In a nutshell, we're seeking an individual with software engineering and architecture experience to properly plan, design, and execute feature implementation. In addition to development, the ideal candidate would also assist with merging, testing, and integration for the application which could include working with other LM teams that utilize our application. This role also involves coding for pentesting areas such as offensive tool creation: remote access trojans, C2 (command & control), exploitation, scripts, reconnaissance tools, payloads, webshells, etc
Basic Qualifications:
• Demonstrated experience implementing software engineering principles
• Understanding of software development life cycles or agile development methodology
• Ability to prioritize tasks and issues based on business needs, as well as assign issues to other developers and track progress
• Effective analytical and critical thinking skills – proven problem solving and follow-thru
• Demonstrated self-starter and team player, able to quickly learn new concepts and share knowledge/information with team members
• Demonstrated web development proficiency including JQuery and Bootstrap
• Extensive Python experience including web frameworks such as Django
• Previous exploitation proof of concept coding experience
• Knowledge of cyber security and networking principles
Desired Skills:
• Thorough understanding of databases and docker environments
• Offensive Security OSED
• Mastery of GitLab and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD)
• Ability to take feature requests from Red Team members, prioritize issues, and implement accordingly.
