Description:
You will be the Cyber Security Senior Manager - Level 6 for the DT&SS Cyber Security Engineering IPT which is responsible for safeguarding advanced development programs.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Cyber Security Senior Manager - Level 6 you will be responsible for leading the DT&SS Cyber Security Engineering IPT, driving security strategy across the advanced development program and guiding a multi‑site team through the full system life‑cycle.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and coordinating cyber security engineering efforts across multiple Lockheed Martin sites.
- Managing a team of cyber security engineers to achieve program objectives through successful technical execution.
- Overseeing program‑management tasks such as proposal development, scope planning, financial and technical status reporting.
- Applying cyber security requirements across design, policy, and procedures to satisfy government regulations and program goals.
- Developing material for major program reviews, conduct system assessments, and maintain authorizations.

You are a collaborative leader with deep experience in cyber security controls, processes, and program management. Your strong oral and written communication skills enable you to present complex technical information to senior executives and customers. You thrive in a multi‑disciplinary environment, partnering with software, air vehicle, mission systems, ground systems, and SI&T teams to protect system integrity throughout the life‑cycle.

This position will be in Fort Worth, TX, Marietta, GA, or Palmdale, CA.
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an active Top Secret clearance to start.
Basic Qualifications:
• Implementing and validating compliance with IA/Cybersecurity policies.
• Analyzing, decomposing, and allocating security controls into executable security requirements at the system/subsystem and component level.
• Project Management skills, including experience managing cost and schedule.
Desired Skills:
• Demonstrated experience developing and executing tactical objectives from strategic guidance.
• Experience leading and performing Cyber Security Risk Analysis and Assessments on a complex heterogeneous system.
• Experience with operating systems for embedded real-time environments typically used in avionics and aircraft systems (not Mobile or IoT).
• Experience with securely configuring and hardening Linux based operating systems.
• Experience with basic EVMS principles, measuring program performance and metrics.
• Experience with development and employment of DoD requirements, policies and processes as part of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) Assessment and Authorization (A&A) process.
• Demonstrated experience with two or more of the following standards/guides: RMF, JSIG, CNSSI-1253, Common Criteria, NSTISSIP 11, DoD8500.1, DoD8500.2, JAFAN 6/3, DITSCAP, DIACAP.
• Familiarity with Secure Software Design and Architecture.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with excellent communication skills (written and verbal communications) and the ability to work in a dynamic work environment.
• Demonstrated strategic thinker and implementer.
• Desire to mentor junior-level team members.
• DoD 8140 IAT Level II or Security+ certification, or able to attain within 6 months of hire.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Top Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $170,900 - $301,415. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $196,600 - $340,745. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
