Cyber Product Engineer Principal

Description:Serves as a Principle Engineer on the Cyberworks team managing the Keyless Signature Infrastructure (KSI) product within the Aeronautics organization. This role performs the functions required to ensure a successful KSI product capability to enhance the integrity of data products across the aeronautics development, production, sustainment and supply chain environments such as: development of multi-year product roadmaps, critical analysis of product requirements, forecasting of budget requests, performing strategic engagements with key stakeholders and identifying growth opportunities to improve the Cyber resiliency of aeronautics deliverable and non-deliverable products. The ideal candidate will communicate effectively with a range of audiences, technical and non-technical, and will function effectively on an engineering team to create a collaborative and inclusive environment that allows for the establishment of mission goals, itemized planning of tasks, and prioritization of tasks that drives the efficient execution of objectives.

Today’s cyber threat is also focused on denying the use of a capability by affecting the integrity and availability of aeronautics data and system readiness information. This role will establish the project schedules, manage costs, ensure desired performance of the KSI product integrations across the Aeronautics organization and provide risk management recommendations to executive leadership for implementing the Keyless Signature Infrastructure to improve the cyber resilience of information systems and data.

• Manage the Keyless Signature Infrastructure product implementation across the Aeronautics Business Area
• Manage the cost, schedule and performance of the KSI product integration
• Create and drive execution of a KSI product implementation plan
• Use intelligence and threat analysis as a basis for risk management recommendations
• Develop a KSI product roadmap and execute identified projects to improve cyber resiliency
• Develop and communicate product strategy, implementation plans and performance to key stakeholders

Must be a US citizen. This position requires special access and a Secret clearance to be considered.
Basic Qualifications:
• B.S. degree in a technical discipline such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Security, or Information Technology - or equivalent applied experience
• Analytical thinker with a demonstrated ability of solving complex problems requiring ingenuity and innovation
• Demonstrated problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Experience with documentation and technical writing to communicate product implementation plans
Desired Skills:
• Experience in managing technology implementations across a Lockheed Martin Business Area
• Experience developing project cost estimates, project schedules, and ensuring adequate performance of approved plans
• Experience in providing risk management recommendations to Executive leaders and DoD customers
• Experience with Agile project management tools (JIRA, VersionOne, etc.)
• Experience with system architecture and system data flow design
• Ability to travel as required
• Must be willing to mentor junior level team members
