What You Will Be Doing
We’re seeking a dynamic and strategic Business Team Lead to support the F-35 Joint Technical Data (JTD) program in Fort Worth, TX. In this high-impact role, you will lead the business operations function for a cutting-edge defense program, overseeing earned value management, risk oversight, and cost/schedule integration. This role requires a proactive leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates effectively across technical and business functions, and is driven to deliver results. You’ll serve as the key point of coordination between internal teams, senior leadership, and the customer—helping to ensure mission success through sound business management and execution.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead a high-performing business operations team and delegate work aligned to priorities across cost, schedule, and change management initiatives.

- Partner with capture teams to support proposal development, including JTD-specific inputs and business case shaping.

- Collaborate with Technical Leads and Product Line Managers to close process gaps and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

- Oversee proposal activity in APTS (Automated Proposal Tracking System), develop Basis of Estimates (BOEs), and support contract negotiations.

- Present staffing forecasts and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.

- Engage directly with customers to manage contract data deliverables, lead Integrated Business Reviews (IBRs), and support root cause analysis and EVM reporting.

- Develop and maintain business process documentation and contribute to enterprise-wide process improvements.

With a strong background in Earned Value Management (EVM), financial planning, and risk analysis, you thrive in complex program environments and understand the importance of collaboration between business, technical, and customer teams. You're detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of leading diverse teams to deliver on cost, schedule, and performance goals. You’re confident in navigating proposal processes, managing contract data, and influencing decision-making through sound business judgment and clear communication. Your ability to lead with integrity, adapt quickly, and think strategically sets you apart.

- Bachelors degree or 5 years experience in absence of Bachelors Degree

- Earned Value management experience

- Risk management experience
Desired Skills:
- Aircraft maintenance experience
- Technical Publications Development experience
- Expert in MS Office products
- Working knowledge of supplier negotiations, technical evaluations and subcontract labor management
- Ability to coordinate across multiple teams
- Engineering degree from accredited university or Masters degree in Business/Economics
- Control Account Manager (CAM) certification
- Scheduling and Project Management experience
- Familiar with material management
- Working knowledge of aerospace technical orders or interactive electronic technical manuals - Previous work with change integration and management
- Familiar with accounting and data analysis reports
- Ability to communicate schedules and risks across multiple concurrent projects

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
