Associate General Counsel

Description:This position, located in Fort Worth, Texas and reports to the Global Transactions & Compliance group within the Aeronautics Legal Department.

The position provides senior level legal support to Supply Chain Management, as well as programs and staff functions regarding a wide range of transactional and compliance matters.

Major transactional responsibilities include advising supply chain leadership on subcontract negotiations, supplier performance and remedies, cost or pricing data issues, commercial item determinations, financially distressed supplier protections and related issues.

Major compliance responsibilities include ensuring compliance with the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) and related anti-corruption laws, environmental, safety, and health matters, standards of conduct and conflict of interest provisions (e.g., U.S. Government "Revolving Door" issues), required reporting to government agencies associated with U.S. Government contracts and international business.

This attorney must demonstrate superior judgment and work product for matters of significant complexity. This attorney must be a self-starter and able to work semi-autonomously.

Outstanding organization, client management and written and verbal communication skills are essential. The attorney may also provide training and/or serve as a mentor to colleagues.

MUST BE A US CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications:
JD degree from an accredited college.

Minimum 10 years professional experience and admitted to practice law in the US.
Desired Skills:
10+ years' experience with a law firm or government agency legal department relating to statutory and regulatory compliance matters (FCPA, Federal Acquisition Regulations and agency supplements).
