Description:What You Will Be Doing
This position is required to execute the planning, development, and integration of advanced manufacturing technologies to resolve technical manufacturing problems as well as guide the development of the next generation of Manufacturing Systems. Candidates must be knowledgeable of manufacturing program lifecycles and value stream.
**Preferred Candidate Background**
The preferred candidate will have a background in Production, Complex Assembly, Groupings and Production Scheduling.
**Key Responsibilities**
• Investigate, gather, and decompose information concerning the technical capabilities of production‑operations systems.
• Stay abreast of developments in software that may be used to improve existing fabrication and assembly processes.
• Analyze customer problems, create new production processes within the current framework, and coordinate capability solutions for manufacturing digital transformation.
• Communicate requirements to information‑technology architects and present solutions to functional core process owners.
• Guide the successful completion of major projects and may function in a technical project‑management role.
• Interact with senior personnel and senior management on significant technical matters, often requiring coordination between functions and other Lockheed Martin business areas.
**Team & Technical Environment**
• Integral member of a cross‑organizational team of experts supporting the implementation of various production‑operations capabilities using the Siemens Xcelerator, SAP S/4 HANA, and Dassault 3DX tool suites.
• Participate in solutioning, development, documentation, training, and deployment of new Production Operations Business Processes associated with the implementation of the Xcelerator, 3DX tools, and S/4 HANA.
**Qualifications**
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing program lifecycles, value‑stream analysis, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Experience in technical project management and coordinating multi‑disciplinary teams.

Basic Qualifications:
• Working knowledge of Design systems and their manufacturing applications
• Experience working with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and the related integrations between these systems
• Experience in Aerospace manufacturing systems, business processes, and/or methods with the ability to utilize that knowledge in developing a digital manufacturing system.
Desired Skills:
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a semi-virtual team.
• PLM (TeamCenter and/or 3DX) and ERP (OneAero, ERP4C, and/or S4/HANA) manufacturing applications with experience in Production Scheduling, Manufacturing Bill of Materials (MBOM), Process Plan, Condition of Supply, Tooling, Configuration Management, and/or Workflow processes.
• Experience in the following:
o Process development across multiple systems
o Model Based Engineering
o Digital Transformation
o CATIA / 3DX / DELMIA
o Teamcenter / Xcelerator
o Quality Center (HPQC)
o Documenting business processes
o Documenting training requirements
o Providing end user training and support
o Authoring requirements specifications
o Manufacturing / Quality / Planning functional end user
o Defect management

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
