Description:What You Will Be Doing

The Operations Integration organization is seeking a Maintenance Trainer Sr for the Fort Worth, Factory and Field Training (F&FT), international training team. The successful candidate will possess a minimum of 5 years of experience directly working with Low Observable Finishes and Coatings on the F-35. Leading candidate must be able to deliver 5th generation aircraft coatings and finishes training, including hands on practical demonstrations, to international partners as well as Fort Worth Production and Flight Operations employees. Individual will be responsible for establishing and delivering technical training programs targeted on the installation, maintenance, repair, of aircraft coatings and finishes materials, associated specific tools and test equipment, and utilize internal company systems such as SFM, QADS, ICA, PDM, MPS’s, PS, JDL and others. Individual will review lesson plans and materials for technical instruction in preparation for class delivery. They will be responsible for classroom setup, class materials, roster accuracy, class completion verification/evidence, course currency and changes to course content based on existing technical guidance. They will be responsible for maintaining instructor currency/proficiency of assigned courses and will be expected to provide technical expertise in a consulting role to engineering and production teams to meet DCMA 8210 and other contractual training requirements. Individual will be required to travel both domestically and internationally, primarily independently, and deliver training as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to diverse set of countries, cultures, and groups, both military and civilian approximately 50% of the time. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Teams, Power Point and Excel will be required.

This position is in Fort Worth, TX  Discover Fort Worth.
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of direct experience installing and maintaining F-35 coatings/finishes on operational or new build aircraft.
- Demonstrated familiarization with aircraft Low Observable (LO) materials, processes, and specifications utilized during manufacturing of F-35 aircraft.
- Prior experience utilizing Process Specifications, MPS’s, and/or aircraft technical data during the application of LO materials on the F-35.
- Knowledge and experience handling, mixing, applying, inspecting, and removal of LO coating materials to include HVLP spray gun application processes.
- Knowledge of proper disposal of related paints, sealants, coatings, adhesives, and other hazardous waste chemicals.
- Ability to obtain US Passport and travel internationally frequently and without limitation.
- Ability to obtain international driver license and operate vehicles independently in foreign locations.
- Strong verbal and written skills.
- Computer, visual communications, and basic software skills to include but not limited to Windows, Microsoft Office 365, Teams, projectors, and visual displays.
- Ability to maintain respirator certification.
Desired Skills:
- Demonstrated instructor experience and skills including classroom lecture, lab performance demonstrations and evaluations.
- Experience applying and maintaining F-22 and/or F-16 coatings and the repair of these materials in accordance technical directives.
- Demonstrated ability and experience coaching employees in the application of Low Observable and coating materials.
- Mod Temp and rain erosion material experience.
- Demonstrated ability and experience utilizing Instructional System Design (ISD)
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships and collaborate with others to meet training needs.
- Prior experience instructing training in a highly regulated environment
- Ability to work autonomously in a culturally diverse environment
- Demonstrated ability to develop and revise training material to keep technical information up to date and meet new training requirements
- Experienced traveler.
- Secret security clearance or the ability to hold one.
- Degree in related field.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
