This work encompasses one or more of the following broad RF disciplines: RF Design, RF Systems, Antenna Design, Radar Systems Engineering, RF Signal Processing, MMW/Microwave Design, MMIC Design, Radar Cross-Section Analysis (RCS), Low Observables/Stealth and Electromagnetic Capability/Electromagnetic Interference (EMC/EMI).

Lockheed Martin Aeronautics in Fort Worth, Texas is seeking a Summer 2023 Aerospace Engineering Intern. In this role, you will work to design and develop the Common Reprogramming Tool (CRT) on the F-35 Mission Data team. Mission Data is essential in the operation of the Electronic Warfare and Radar systems, you will be designing capabilities for CRT to be able to produce Mission Data. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of Model Based Systems Engineering, Radio Frequency (RF) Applications, and Electronic Warfare (EW). Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
- Pursuing a masters degree in Electrical Engineer with an emphasis in Radio Frequency applications (minimum two years college credits towards a BS in the desired discipline or degree info which aligns to Masters/PhD student requirements)
- Basic Knowledge of Radar Systems and how emitter detection works
- Familiar with Systems Engineering
- Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Experience with Agile Software Development
- Familiar with Lab Integration and Testing, Verification and Validation of Requirements
- Proficient with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) Tools or Applications (such as Cameo, DOORS, or Rhapsody)

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
