For more than 40 years, Derco, A Lockheed Martin Company, has provided logistics and technical support for fixed-wing and rotary aircraft. We are an industry leader, offering a suite of fleet management solutions, including spares distribution, logistics solutions, repair and overhaul services and technical solutions.

THE WORK
Lockheed Martin RMS and Derco, a Lockheed Martin Company, are seeking an experienced and self-motivated individual to support the C-130 Performance Based Logistics Program (PBL) with the U.S. Defence Logistics Agency. The individual will be part of an integrated team providing logistical and technical sustainment supporting the USAF, USN, FMS and other C-130 operators. Strong communication and time management skills, as well as the ability to effectively coordinate with virtual teams are key requirements for this position.

Key Responsibilities
1. Oversee and manage the operational aspects of ongoing activities and serves as liaison between the program team, supply chain management team, and the respective customer.
2. Work with business analytics team to ensure material demand forecasts align with the customer’s scheduled and unscheduled maintenance requirements.
3. Assess customer data and perform assessment of configuration change impacts to supply support system.
4. Analyze post-production supply chain data to define reorder points and quantities, and coordinate for economy of purchases.
5. Identify and resolve customer supply chain management issues (including obsolescence) and discrepancies.
6. Assess on-site project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
7. Develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.
8. Collaborate on and monitors performance of Performance Work Statement.
9. Monitor program performance and risks, identify problem areas/ opportunities for improvement, and recommend solutions for the program.
10. Assist in tracking program KPI's, and preparing for program reviews.

WHO YOU ARE
You possess a blend of technical skills, such as aircraft material analysis and data analysis, along with strong soft skills, including effective communication and collaboration. You are a self-motivated individual with experience in program management and aviation supply chain, able to thrive in fast-paced environments and deliver positive results.

A level 3 employee is mid-career and typically has 5+ years of professional experience.

Basic Qualifications:
1. Program/ Project Management experience particularly with USG organizations.
2. BA/BS Degree with 5 years’ experience working in aviation supply chain, MRO or related field.
3. Strong communications skills and demonstrated ability to establish positive relationships with key customers and suppliers.
4. Proven ability to successfully work with geographically dispersed teams with a record of delivering positive results.
5. Familiarity with MS Excel basic data tools (pivot tables, vlookup, macros, etc.) as well as database software such as Tableau.
6. Possess strong understanding of aircraft material analysis and demand forecasting.
7. Must be able to excel in fast-paced, high-demand environments with the ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task.
8. Must be a US citizen and able to get base access clearances.
Desired Skills:
• Proven experience executing sustainment and/ or PBL contracts.
• Experience working with DLA or similar USG customers.
• Prior experience with the C-130 Aircraft.
• Familiarity with parts obsolescence management.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
