Description:Lockheed Martin, in support of Special Operations Forces (SOF) Global Logistics Support Services (GLSS), is seeking an experienced Systems Integration and Test Engineer at our Fort Walton Beach facility.

The successful candidate needs to be a self-starter that is well versed in Systems Engineering (SE) processes from proposal through execution. The candidate will be responsible for systems engineering interface development, aircraft level integration and test, and troubleshooting of LM MFC SOF designed systems and other GFE provided components into C-130 variants or other military platforms. Specific tasks will include coordination, planning, and execution of integration and tests events including build and presentation of Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs). The candidate should have a strong technical background and be able to effectively communicate with the customer on a regular basis during the test program. The candidate should also have good technical problem solving skills, including support of root cause failure analysis and corrective action activities. Experience executing aircraft modifications from inception through production and sustainment is a plus. Experience with engineering-to-maintenance liaison activities associated with inspection, maintenance, and repair of aircraft are also a plus.

Basic Qualifications:
• Accredited B.S. in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace, or similar)
• Experience with generating System Engineering work products (Systems Engineering Master Plan, Master Test Plan, System Specifications, Trades Studies, Test Procedures, Test Plans and Reports, etc.)
• Experience with the coordination, planning and execution of military ground test or flight test activities
• Experience presenting at program milestone events (e.g., SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR) and interfacing with the customer
Desired Skills:
• Experience with the Systems Engineering process throughout a product lifecycle (e.g., concept, design, integration, and test)
• Proven ability to drive issues to closure
• Strong communication skills and professional presence
• Detailed knowledge and experience in the maintenance and testing of C-130 aircraft
• Familiarity with rapid response programs
• Experience in leading and supporting failure analysis and corrective action activities
• Experience in generating Basis of Estimates (BOEs) in response to Request for Proposals (RFPs)
• Prior leadership experience
• Understanding of Tech Orders/ability to interpret engineering specifications and drawings
