Journeyman Industrial Electrician - International Travel Required

Description:Lockheed Martin is seeking a Journeyman Industrial Electricians for an overseas assignment. International travel is required for this position. Duties include:

Responsible for repairing and installing electrical systems in new industrial construction and maintaining electrical equipment and wiring.

Must be able to identify, troubleshoot and repair problems in electrical wiring that occur in an industrial setting.

Expected to be able to run tests, isolate problems, replace faulty sections of wiring, and lay conduit for the new electrical systems.

Must have good math skills, as need to take measurements and work with numbers.

Must also be able to read blueprints. Should have good overall knowledge of all building electrical systems and electrical theory.

Work well with public as well as with co-workers and willing to listen to others

Must be punctual and follow rules

Must be a self-starter and work independently with no or minimum guidance

Must be willing to work long hours to include weekend

Must be able to travel internationally

Basic Qualifications:
Experience in military construction supplies
Must be able to operate a forklift
Must have and be able to maintain a valid driver’s license
Must be able to work well with public as well as with co-workers
Must be a self-starter and work independently with no or minimum guidance and be willing to listen and work with others
Good written and verbal communication skills
Willing to work long hours including weekends
Willingness to work rotational shifts including days, evenings, midnights, holidays and weekends, as required
Must be able to work in extreme temperatures – hot and cold, indoors and outdoors

Must be able to travel internationally
