Description:Lockheed Martin is seeking a team lead automotive technician for an OCONUS assignment. International travel is required for this position. Duties include but not limited to the following:

•Service and repair both U.S. and non-U.S. Spec vehicles, such as Chieftain, MATV, MRAPS and JNTVs.
• Test parts and systems to ensure that they are working properly
•Identify mechanical problems, often by using computerized diagnostic equipment
•Follow checklists to ensure that all critical parts are examined
•Test and lubricate the vehicle’s engine and other major components
•Perform basic care and maintenance, including oil changes, tune-ups, and tire rotations
•Repair or replace worn parts, such as brake pads and wheel bearings
•Disassemble and reassemble parts
•Use testing equipment to ensure that repairs and maintenance are effective
•Explain to clients their automotive problems and the repairs done on their vehicles
•Support mechanical components, such as engines, transmissions, brakes, transmissions, and steering systems
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum of 10 years of related experience in automotive and diesel maintenance trouble shooting, and repair of equipment. Familiar with the following Chieftains, MRAP, MATV, Toyota, Hilux, Land Cruiser, and other commercial types of equipment as well as tactical military ground equipment. Candidates should have the desire and ability to work alone as well as with others to complete preventative maintenance and repairs on customer owned equipment. Ability to work independently.

WILLINGNESS TO WORK ROTATIONAL SHIFTS INCLUDING DAYS, EVENINGS, MIDNIGHTS, HOLIDAYS AND WEEKENDS AS REQUIRED. MUST WORK IN EXTREME TEMPERATURES HOT AND COLD, INDOOR/OUTDOOR.MUST BE ABLE TO LIFT 70 POUNDS.

The successful candidate will be required to successfully complete customer required International Readiness Certifications. For more information please review more requirements at:
