The Physical Security Specialist in support of F-35 will provide support within the 85 Fighter Wing (FW) at Ebbing ANGB, AR, to ensure full compliance with SCI/SAP/SAR/DOD policy, guidance and directives.
Assist in planning, conducting, evaluating, analyzing, and reporting security program issues related to special access programs affecting Academic Training Center, and OPS/AMU operations. Design, develop, write & coordinate waiver requirements to physical security standards. Conduct physical security site surveys to assess physical construction & security protection afforded 85th FW assets.
They will also provide technical guidance and recommendations to government and industry security officers in the methods and techniques required to meet ICD, and DoD Manual 5205.07 vol 3 construction standards for secure facilities; provide assistance on a wide range of security related issues to the Program Office as required; provide, as tasked, recommended policy and procedures concerning certification and accreditation activities; provide written procedures for Security Generalists on security related measures; provide support for disaster preparation and recovery, continuity of operations, and contingency planning support for physical operations; investigate security incidents, define root causes, provide recommended solutions, train or retrain personnel as needed to prevent recurrence of event upon GSSO and/or Security Managers request; develop and implement a security education and awareness program within assigned areas; oversee/conduct monthly security checks and turn-in of required documentation to Program Office and Security Forces; coordinate security issues through Program Security Office, i.e. camera use within facilities, equipment movement, etc; accomplish security self-inspections on assigned secure facilities by identifying deficiencies, developing milestones, providing follow-up on open issues, and resolving issues; actively participate in customer Staff Assistant Visits, and formal inspections; temporarily backfill Security Administrator positions during unexpected or short notice absences by Security Generalists; respond to alarm activations as needed.
Design, develop, review & edit Fixed Facility Checklist (FFCs) for F-35 new/pre-construction, update page changes to the FFC, prepare (FFC) SAP/SCI approval letters to Region AFOSI PSO/DIA for review and approval. Design, develop, review & edit Concept Validation Requests for SAP/SCI/DOD facilities & prepare approval letters. Design, develop, review & edit Co-Use requests & prepare approval request letters to the Region AFOSI PSO/DIA for review and approval. Design, develop, review & edit program facility accreditations, TSWA, & PDS approvals for unit facilities and Operations. Conduct physical security site surveys to assess physical construction & security protection afforded 85 FW assets. Attend facility design reviews & pre-construction meetings to advise on appropriate accreditation criteria. Monitor status of facility construction, equipment installation, accreditation documentation, scheduling, approvals & conflicts. Design, develop, review & edit facility accreditation request & prepare approval letters for PSO signature.

Basic Qualifications:
1.) Experience providing oversight to multi-functions of security, such as Personnel Security (PERSEC), and Security Education Training and Awareness (SETA).
2.) Current SECRET security clearance with an investigation within 5 years from the investigation Closed date or confirmed enrollment within the Continuous Evaluation (CE) program.
3.) Must be able to obtain and maintain access to Special Access Programs (SAPs).
4.) Previous SAP experience & knowledge of DoD 5205.07 (Vols. 1-4)
5.) Excellent written and verbal skills.
6.) Industrial and/or military security experience.
7.) Proficient in use of Microsoft Office products.
8.) Ability to establish and maintain professional and productive relationships with internal and external customers.
Desired Skills:
1. Knowledge of F-35 Program Security requirements.
2. Experience working with Special Access Programs.
3. Capable of giving large group unclassified and classified briefings to government and contractor personnel.
4. Experience working in a dynamic military environment.
5. Experience interacting with senior ranking USAF commissioned officers and key government stakeholders with confidence, poise and professionalism.
6. Comfortable making decisions autonomously and successfully operating in a military aviation operations environment. Previous experience in military leadership and decision-making roles would be beneficial.
7. Familiarization with Defense Information Security System (DISS).
8. Knowledgeable user of Microsoft Teams, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
9. Personnel Security, Physical Security, and Access Control experience.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
