What You Will Be Doing:
We are currently seeking a dedicated Aircraft Maintenance Support Specialist to join our team at Ebbing Field, Arkansas, a premier fighter jet training center for Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customers. This role is instrumental in supporting our mission to strengthen the backbone of the free world.

As an Aircraft Maintenance Support Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in the tool room, supply chain, and hazardous material management in support of aircraft maintenance activities. Your duties will encompass a broad range of tasks including:
• Conducting thorough inspections and inventory of tools, ensuring tools are checked in and out correctly.
• Marking and cleaning tools, scheduling equipment calibration, and managing the inventory of spare or broken tools.
• Overseeing hazardous material storage and issuance, as well as the issue and turn-in of supplies.
• Transporting tools, parts, and equipment safely, requiring proficiency in operating a forklift or delivery truck.

This position is in Fort Smith, Arkansas where we are on a mission to strengthen the backbone of the free world by supporting Ebbing Field’s mission as the world class fighter jet training center for Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customers.

• Position may require extended hours due to mission requirements

• Must be able to work alternate nonstandard/overtime hours as required. Ability to work alternate first, second or third shift.

• Must be able to lift 35 lbs.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Must be a team player in a customer-oriented environment

• Must possess valid Driver’s License and must be able to pass requirements for operating forklift and delivery trucks

Basic Qualifications:
• 2 years combined experience in tool room operations, HAZMAT or supply chain management.

• Knowledge of Safety, Tool Control/accountability, Foreign Object damage (FOD), Supply, Quality, and Security programs.

• Must be able to drive forklift or delivery truck to transport tools, parts, and equipment.

• Position requires short notice travel

• Position may require extended hours due to mission requirements

• Must be able to work alternate nonstandard/overtime hours as required. Ability to work alternate first, second or third shift.

• Must be able to lift 35 lbs.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Must be a team player in a customer-oriented environment

• Must possess valid Driver’s License and must be able to pass requirements for operating forklift and delivery trucks

• Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Must possess at minimum Interim Secret Clearance to start.
Desired Skills:
• Working knowledge of Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS)

• Possess practical knowledge of supply chain management

• HAZMAT certification

• Ability to work with limited supervision

• Forklift certified

• Ability to prepare and ship material

• Knowledge of DOD supply and transportation practices.

• Proficient at Microsoft Office
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: Standard Monday to Friday 40 hour work week
