Logistics Management Senior - Service Contract Request - SCR - Special Operations Forces

Description:Lockheed Martin is seeking a Logistics Management Analyst Sr. in the Ft. Benning, GA area to provide Service Contract Request (SCR) Support to conduct analysis, screening, and tracking of the SCR requirements. This position is critical to maintain visibility of various SCRs that are required for the 75th RR in support of various operations where contracts are required. The position will review documents and validate against established standards and processes in order to help ensure accurate and timely staffing and approval of SCR related documentation. This position will update various detailed tracking systems, follow up daily to information requests from various staff agencies up through the USASOC command level, and closure of all documents, with proper archiving procedures. Occasional domestic travel may be required.
Basic Qualifications:
-Have strong organizational skills, and be able to work independently, with little or no supervision.
-Be able to operate a standalone computer without assistance and be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications.
-Must possess a valid, unencumbered state driver’s license.
-Must possess excellent work ethic, verbal and written communication skills, and be detailed and accurate in performing all functions.
-Must be familiar with AR 25-50 and be able to write correspondence in a military format, when necessary.
-Be capable of following detailed SOPs and Screening guides for review of Service Contract Requirements (SCR) in support of unit training requirements.
-Be capable of maintaining a portal-based SCR tracking system which provides near real time status to units throughout the command for SCR status.
Desired Skills:
-Display expert knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel programs in the preparation of various staff action requirements to be used in presentations, staff planning/working groups and for information papers.
-Be capable and proficient with verbal communications, both in person and via teleconferences for the purpose of effective coordination with military installation management staff, USASOC staff action officers and non-government agencies as required.
