As a Systems Engineer for Requirements and Verification, you will:
• Define the Requirements and Verification Baseline using Model-Based Systems Engineering
• Develop Specification and Interface Description Documents
• Support the development of program Support equipment to include simulators, logistics, EGSE and MGSE requirements baseline, ground and flight test planning, and design reviews
• Participate in value-driven Systems Engineering team and drive design evolution in a systematic and thoughtful way
• Work closely with the customer counterparts to develop, test, and field a strategic system
Typically you will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 5+ years of professional experience.
This position is in one of the Coolest places to work: Denver, Colorado.
• Experience in Systems Engineering, or related technical field experience with knowledge of Systems Engineering concepts and processes
• DOORS or similar tool for requirements management, decomposition, and publication
• Familiarity with program and design review process (SRR, PDR, CDR, FRR, etc.)
• Must have an active DoD Secret clearance or higher
• Experience with requirements, design, or verification of EGSE and/or MGSE
• Demonstrated ability to work with multiple engineering fields to identify technical product characteristics to develop requirements specifications
• Script modification and development
• Writing requirements documentation and coordinating release through the approval process
• Experience with requirements change management tools and processes
• Ability to define and document solutions to complex problems and to convey solutions to both senior management
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience coordinating with multiple key partners
• Demonstrated behaviors of a systems thinker; selects and applies appropriate systems thinking skills to solve very complex problems and implement constructive change
• Missile or space segment design and test experience with one or more subsystems or disciplines outside of Systems Engineering
• Master's Degree in Systems Engineering, INCOSE Certification, or relevant Graduate Certificate

The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
