Navy Strategic Programs (NSP) is experiencing significant growth and we need your expertise to deliver amazing new technologies to our customers. We have opportunities that include advanced Hypersonic Technology, Glide Body Strike technology, and other key technology insertions. The early design and engineering phase provides you with tremendous career growth potential along with meaningful assignments to stretch and hone your expertise. This is a rare opportunity to work closely alongside our Navy Strategic Systems Programs (SSP) partners to field a number of future strategic systems that the nation urgently needs.

You will provide support to all Guidance, Navigation & Control GNC planning, requirements generation, software verification & validation activities, and pre and post-test support. Normal responsibilities include liaison with other engineering disciplines and lines of business as appropriate, corporate contact, and execution of enterprise and corporate initiatives. Demonstrated experience with Guidance, Navigation and Control/Flight Software GNC/FSW architectures and deployment in missile and re-entry applications is highly desired.

Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, both written and oral, essential to professional company and contract representation are a must.

You will typically have a bachelors degree and 9 years of professional experience for this role.

Basic Qualifications:
• Must have broad technical skills including GNC algorithm development, performance analysis, design, software verification and validation, flight test support, simulation development and hardware-in-the-loop simulators
• Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment with built-in security (DevSecOps)
• Experience with Python, C/C++, Matlab/Simulink, autocoding, FORTRAN
• Demonstrated experience with configuration management
• Ability and willingness to obtain a DoD security clearance
Desired Skills:
• Experience with model-based software development using Simulink, Cameo or Rhapsody
• Experience with hypersonic and boost vehicle systems
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Experience generating requirements compliance verification matrix (RVCM)
• Demonstrated ability as a team player to build consensus among peers and build effective relationships with team members.
• Demonstrated communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical issues to peers, management, subcontractors and customers
• Previous real-time and embedded software development experience
• Experience developing and testing HWIL testbed software and software
• Experience with Agile processes and framework
• Full development lifecycle experience
• Ability to perform software integration and test-driven development
• Ability to work with multiple programming languages, operating systems, and development environments.
• Experience in requirements development and/or analysis for software/hardware interfaces, DOORS
• Familiar with missile vehicle avionics hardware
• DOD secret clearance.
