As an Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Systems Engineer, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
• Working in a development environment to design and develop technically complex systems and assigning daily tasks to other EMC engineers
• Interfacing and coordinating with government customer and subcontractors
• Applying electromagnetic engineering skills to enable the logical and systematic conversion of customer needs into total systems derived and solutions
• Performing sell-off through: Compiling, organizing, performing, analyzing and documenting completed compliance verification process which assesses design performance and operational electromagnetic issues at both the package and system levels
• Providing team participation in EMC, including Test Planning, System Integration, and Verification/Validation, test setup and performance oversight of components and the all-up system
• Join the enterprise EMC Engineering group and be partnered with other specialists, mentor and lead peers
• Travel as needed to other Lockheed Martin sites as well as customer and supplier locations.
Successful candidates will typically have 5 years of professional experience, and a minimum completed education level of Bachelor's degree in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.

Basic Qualifications:
• Working knowledge and conversant with MIL-STD-461/464 or equivalent and applicable test methods
• Exceptional knowledge of Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) theory
• Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance
Desired Skills:
• Experience with Satellite and/or Missile System EMC Testing, including Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), electromagnetic interference (EMI), electromagnetic vulnerability (EMV), electromagnetic pulse (EMP), electronic protection (EP), electrostatic discharge (ESD), and hazards of electromagnetic radiation to personnel (HERP), ordnance (HERO), and volatile materials (HERF)
• MATLAB, Excel, CST (3-D modeling software tool) and PSPICE (or equivalent) experience
• Advanced Electromagnetic Capability (EMC) test equipment
• Experience performing Survivability and/or Lightning Analysis per applicable standards
• Experience leading technical teams
• US Navy customer experience

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $85,500 - $150,765. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
