As a Staff Hardware Engineer you will be perform & support design coordination, development, incremental system test, and customer acceptance test for electronic & electrical Ground Support Equipment (GSE) and Automated Test Equipment (ATE) used for Lockheed Martin Space missions. You will also support unique/custom designed circuitry, subassemblies & assemblies, as well as engineering design disclosure documentation required to produce them. Programmatic field-of-vision includes assisting in requirements generation, production support, test readiness, design qualification, requirements verification, test results analysis, formal acceptance, delivery, installation and product support.

Technical field-of-vision includes research and evaluation of:
•Commercial off-the-shelf telemetry encoders
•Radio Frequency subsystem
•Analog & digital electrical circuits
•Mixed-signal processing
•Power supplies, packaging, containers, and interconnect equipment and components for use in automated test equipment.

The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, communications skills, both oral and written, able to mentor and develop subordinates, and have a strong background in electrical engineering design. A willingness to travel is required.

Basic Qualifications:
Qualified candidate shall possesses the following skills:

• Candidate shall have a full understanding of classic system engineering development cycle from initial system requirement development through trade analysis & design synthesis, product design validation & verification and final product sell-off.
• Experiences in supporting design & implementation of large & complex electrical projects
• Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Desired Skills:
• Ability to interpret and implement specific requirements and coordinate design evolutionary processes.
• Full understanding of Earned Value Management (EVM) concept
• Possess Can-Do attitude, and ability to identify and execute required steps to bring projects to successful closure.
• Problem solving and project planning experience.
• Excellent professional and interpersonal communication skills required to interface with individuals from various disciplines while performing complex serial and parallel tasks required to successfully deliver support equipment products to our Customer.
• Experience with design ordinance safety equipment or telemetry equipment a plus
