The Challenge:
It takes more than steel, advanced electronics and engine thrust to make the F-35 Lightning II, the world's fifth generation fighter, take flight. It is the Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS) that gives F-35 Lightning II operators the ability to plan ahead, to maintain, to plan and sustain its systems over the life of the air vehicle. ALIS provides the IT backbone and capabilities to support current and future Warfighters across the U.S. and allied military services.

Keep our jets flying in in this high in demand career opportunity. This is an operational support role to an active fighter unit, you will be responsible for the security and integrity of our systems that our customers rely on daily.
As a Senior Database Administrator with our F F-35 Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS) team, you will be empowered to assure the integrity of all the databases within the system by maintaining the internal databases and applications while collaborating directly with our customers as a trusted point of contact.

A Day in the Life:
Working directly with our customers at Eielson AFB, Alaska, you will own full life cycle database administration, from backups to restoration, integration, testing, and analysis. You will also monitor corrective actions, hardware/software baseline updates, testing patches as well as the overall status of the system. You will work closely with the System Administrator to carry out and sustain system-wide backups and restoration, providing expertise in overall database maintenance. Beyond that, you will play a key role as the point of contact for the JSF Squadron discussion.

Basic Qualifications:
•Active In-Scope DoD Secret Clearance with investigation within 6 years and the ability to obtain special program access
•Minimum 5 years of experience in Database Administration and/or Database Development experience
•Proficient with COTS database software and tools (Oracle, SQL and/or Siebel)
•Ability to obtain and retain Security+ certification
Desired Skills:
In addition to the basic requirements above, the successful candidate may have experience in one or more of the following:

• Current Security+, CySA+, or CCNA Security certification

• Proficient in SQL and Database Administration skills, which may include: Importing large data volumes and managing large Oracle and SQL Server databases, executing/troubleshooting scripts, creating Level 0 and 1 database backups, utilization of Oracle Recovery Manager (RMAN) for backup and recovery,

• Demonstrated system administration experience
