Responsible for the system administration tasks at the Australia Canada United Kingdom Reprogramming Lab (ACURL) located at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida.

Responsible for computer systems technical support in a Laboratory environment comprised of Linux, MS Windows, Sun Solaris and UNIX based real-time simulation and development systems, including software development, systems integration, operations and maintenance inside the lab environment.

Individual will work with other engineers, customers and vendors in configuring, integrating, modifying, upgrading, troubleshooting and supporting configuration management of all systems OS, drivers and applications software.

Individual must have an overall knowledge of lab systems to perform administrative tasks such as managing user accounts, data backup, networking, security, disk management, software license management, etc.

Candidates must exhibit excellent problem solving skills, be a team player, possess excellent communications and interpersonal skills, and be able to adjust work schedule periodically to support program activities.

Must be able to attain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) access.

MUST BE A US CITIZEN - THIS JOB MAY BE LOCATED IN A FACILITY THAT REQUIRES SPECIAL ACCESS.
Basic Qualifications:
System administration experience in supporting/managing various OS platforms such as Linux (SLES, RedHat), MS Windows, UNIX (Solaris 9/10).

Experience troubleshooting outages in a STIG compliant environment that may occur while deploying patches and updates.

DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 Certification.
Desired Skills:
Bachelor's degree

Linux Operating Systems (Red Hat, SUSE operating environments and administration)

Active Directory

Implement, support and troubleshoot Microsoft server based networks

Knowledge administering Active Directory, Group Policy, Exchange, SCCM, SharePoint, Jira and other server applications

NetApp

NetApp Administrative skills

Knowledge of NAS/SAN environments

Knowledge of NetApp core technologies

SQL Database Administration

Experience with SQL Server 2014 basic administrative task to include disaster recovery

Experience with network troubleshooting tools, e.g. Wireshark
HBSS Administration
