Ground Support Equipment Mechanic F-35 - 2nd Shift

Description:Must have or be able to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.

Performs installation, maintenance, and repairs on line manufacturing equipment. Locates and diagnoses failures, replaces defective components, and performs basic troubleshooting using standard electronic equipment, detailed drawings, diagrams, sketches, specifications, prints, manuals, and verbal and/or written instructions. May redesign basic optical, vacuum, electrical, electronic, or mechanical systems for incorporation on existing manufacturing equipment. May estimate labor and equipment costs and prepare requisitions as required. Maintains appropriate maintenance, inventory, and repair logs. Uses a variety of hand, power, and test tools and equipment.Perform analysis on Logistics Test and Evaluations as it pertains to Support Equipment. Enter data into the Logistics Management System. May be required to perform the role of test director for Reliability and Maintainability Demonstrations.
Basic Qualifications:
Experience with reading and interpreting wiring diagrams and electrical schematics.

Experience with Tool Control, FOD, Supply, HAZMAT, Training, Quality, Security programs, Servicing, pick-up/delivery of Aerospace Ground Equipment (AGE) or Ground Support Equipment (GSE) supporting aircraft/airfield operations.

Experience with Two way radio and flight line driving knowledge.
Desired Skills:
Previous support equipment maintenance at a flight test program or military fighter aircraft organization.

Must possess a thorough understanding and working level of knowledge on Aerospace Ground Support Equipment.

Possess a working level of knowledge on Maintenance Information Systems such as Electronic Maintenance Instructions, Aircraft Forms Documentation, and Supply Chain Management.

Possess an ability to work in a diverse work culture environment.

Must be able to conduct On-the-Job training as required on multiple pieces Ground Support Equipment.
