Description:Responsible for daily flight, ground tests and maintenance requirements of F-16 aircraft. Provide for the launch, recovery, preflight/thru flight/BPO inspections, ground handling, maintenance, engine runs, and servicing. Perform routine troubleshooting, installation, repair and maintenance of all electro-mechanical and pneudraulic systems and components on the aircraft. Responsible for the acceptableness of all electrical, hydraulic-pneumatic, propulsion, landing gear, flight control surfaces and periodic inspections, general airframe condition, aircraft furnishings and crew escape system of the airplane for ground, flight and flight test operations. Will be required to remove panels and associated hardware to obtain access equipment requiring repair. May perform any and all standard work associated with Aircraft Assembler Structures (RF3063), Aircraft Assembler Electrical (RF3062) or (RF3023 Aircraft Mechanic), and Weapons Loading.

Basic Qualifications:
- Experience in the operational checkout of systems of an aircraft in one or more fields of specialization in structural, electrical, hydraulics and propulsion.

- Experience using testing equipment and tools.

- Experience in structural rework, repair, and modification.

- Experience with assembly theory, practice, and procedure and removal and repair techniques.

- Experience with ground handling and test equipment.

- Verifiable flight line experience is required.

* Must be a US Citizen

* SECRET SECURITY Clearance REQUIRED. Must possess or have the ability to acquire an interim clearance to start, AND maintain clearance thereafter.
Desired Skills:
- Military tactical aircraft experience preferred.

- Aircraft Mechanic / Aircraft craftsman A&P Lic.

- A strong understanding of the maintenance process

- Experience with hydraulic systems, airframe modification, and wiring harness installation/trouble shooting.
