Description:Lead AS9100 Audits – Plan, conduct, and champion audits to verify that projects comply with the customer Task Order performance work statements and LMCO Command Media requirements.
Drive Corrective & Preventive Actions – Develop and implement CAPA initiatives with a strategic, results‑focused mindset.
Oversee Root‑Cause Analysis – Manage the end‑to‑end RCA process to identify underlying issues and ensure lasting resolutions.
Chair the Corrective Action Board (CAB) – Facilitate monthly CAB meetings, track action items, and report status to senior leadership.
Ensure Task Order Compliance – Verify that all inspection and acceptance criteria stipulated by the customer are satisfied on schedule.
FOD Program Liaison – Serve as the primary point of contact with DCMA for Foreign Object Damage/Debris (FOD) awareness, control measures, and critical area management.
Zero‑Escape Safety Assurance – Guarantee that no safety‑of‑flight defects escape detection, overseeing Red‑X conditions and In‑Process Inspections (IPI).
Incident Investigation Lead – Direct investigations of significant aircraft incidents and impoundments, providing decisive leadership and timely root‑cause determinations.
First‑Article Inspection (FAI) Expertise – Perform FAIs in accordance with AS9102 standards, ensuring first‑article compliance and documentation.
Performance Metrics & Continuous Improvement – Establish key quality metrics, analyze data trends, and recommend process enhancements to drive operational excellence.
Basic Qualifications:
Aviation Experience – Prior work in the aviation community; Fixed‑Wing aircraft experience preferred.
Security Clearance – Ability to obtain and maintain an appropriate clearance.
Advanced Quality Knowledge – Deep understanding of aerospace quality principles, standards, and best practices.
Non‑Conforming Material Control – Experience controlling, dispositioning, and tracking non‑conforming material.
CAPA Expertise – Skilled in techniques that drive effective Corrective and Preventive Actions.
Design Review Participation – Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T during design reviews.
Complex Problem Solving – Experience resolving complex quality‑related product issues and optimizing Quality Management processes to reduce risk and improve program execution.
Government & DCMA Interaction – Familiarity working with government customers and agencies such as DCMA and USAF QAE (Quality Assurance Evaluator).
Leadership & Innovation – Demonstrated experience as a team lead, fostering innovation and continuous improvement.
Influence & Collaboration – Strong ability to influence outcomes through cross‑functional collaboration; excellent communication skills to interact effectively with Engineering, Manufacturing, and other stakeholders
Desired Skills:
Program Management – Experience managing production/modification GOCO (Government‑Owned, Contractor‑Operated) or IDIQ (Indefinite‑Delivery/Indefinite‑Quantity) programs.
Financial Acumen – Proficiency in BOE (Basis of Estimate), estimating, budgeting, and Earned Value Management (EVM).
Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) Handling – Familiarity with requirements for handling and controlling Government‑furnished equipment and property.
Board Facilitation – Experience chairing Material Review Boards (MRB) and Corrective Action Board (CAB) activities.
Continuous‑Improvement & Causal Analysis – Proven ability to identify solutions, apply continuous‑improvement practices, and conduct thorough causal analysis.
Microsoft Office Proficiency – Advanced skill level with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and related tools.
Presentation & Training Development – Strong presentation skills and the ability to create training material and compelling strategies that drive diverse teams to adopt new solutions.
Strategic Business Improvements – Capability to drive improvements across programs and functional areas, ensuring preventive and corrective strategies are defined and executed at the executive level.
Senior Staff Experience – Background serving in senior staff roles, providing strategic vision to Director‑level and higher leadership.
ERP Knowledge – Enterprise Resource Planning experience; SAP and MMAS knowledge preferred.
Travel Flexibility – Ability to travel as required.
Fixed‑Wing Experience – Direct experience with fixed‑wing aircraft operations or support.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
