Logistics Management Analyst - CONUS - DoD Suppy Chain - Special Operations Forces

Description:Review/work daily, weekly and monthly procurement reports. Research, submit, track, MILSTRIP/MILSTRAP transactions and Supply status in GOLDesp and JOBSCOPE applications. Research, submit, track, and execute government depot disposition instructions for Supply Discrepancy Reports (SDR). Operate and manage a SBSS/IMDS interface to facilitate transaction processing. Manage a MICAP management system and submit Non Mission Capable Supply requisitions using appropriate Force Activity Designator. Order and validate requisitions and estimated shipment dates. Perform follow-up actions to the source of supply and cancel requisitions when no longer required. Manage a recycle asset control system. This will include working the Awaiting Parts program. Individual shall manage a uniform storage and materials handling system. Familiar with and manage the shelf–life program. Also, duties include monitoring and operating a supply point. Individual shall be knowledgeable of the Air Force Equipment Management System. Be able to interpret SBSS reports. Individual shall operate a property control system and implement property disposal procedures. Assist in inventories. Monitor MILS and Non-MILS spares requests, taking action to fill/back order. Initiate, monitor, and maintain transactions in the inventory management system for repairable items. Function as primary Logistics liaison to Program Managers and Integrated Product Teams. Research and compile data for DCRL requirements. Act as back-up COMSEC custodian, performing all supporting coordination and transactions. Create due-in for inbound items. Provide back-up for other Logistics Management Analysts. Function as sole backup for Senior LMA supporting A4 at Hurlburt Field.

Researches aircraft part numbers utilizing Federal Logistics Data (FEDLOG) to cross to National Stock Numbers.
1. Interpret FEDLOG data to determine Reparability Codes, Source of Supply, and cost impacts based on Budget Code.
2. Researches U.S. Air Force Information Management Systems to determine Carcass prices for XD2 items and advises Prod Ops, Quality, and the Customer on financial impact.
Researches Air Force Technical Orders Illustrated Parts Breakdown to validate part number requests, ascertain next-higher-assemblies, Quantity Per Application, and Useable-On-Codes to determine applicability to end-item aircraft.
Prepares AF FORM 2005 for Aircraft Parts requests IAW U.S. Air Force 23 Series Handbooks.
Processes orders in ESS for Green Aircraft Warranty components as directed by the Customer and/or their authorized representatives IAW U.S. Air Force 23 Series Handbooks.
Periodically reviews ESS and Host Base Supply Reports requisition status to determine additional actions and follow up as required for unsatisfactory status.
Ensures core repairable Due-In-From Maintenance (DIFM) items are turned in to Host Base Supply Flight Service Center within prescribed deadlines. Also ensures appropriate condition tags are affixed prior to turn-in.
Process turn-ins, planned and unplanned receipts in GOLD for GFE related components.
Process internal and external shipments in GOLD to meet Prod Ops requirements as well as Customer requests/requirements.
Process receipts for Material in JOBSCOPE, prepare stock labels, assign warehouse locations, and put away items as required.
Pull material from warehouse locations based on JOBSCOPE PICK-TICKETS and deliver to appropriate PROD OPS Aircraft Bays.
Download cargo from carriers utilizing Material Handling Equipment including 10K forklift.
Forecast needs for shop consumables and prepare Material Purchase Request Forms for appropriate approval.
Review Bid Proposal Basis of Estimates for Logistics requirements to determine applicability, scope, and accuracy of forecasting. Job requires travel between Fort Walton Beach Warehouse, Hurlburt Field, Eglin AFB, and Crestview Facility as well as to area vendors.
As operational needs require, employee may be called on to support three shifts.
Basic Qualifications:
Must be proficient in Microsoft software programs in order to research, develop and create documents and presentations. Experience and strong knowledge of applying advance database techniques for extracting querying and analyzing large amounts of raw data from various sources. Ability to multi-task in a high tempo environment while executing against competing priorities is a must. Ten years of combined Air Force and contractor supply experience.
Desired Skills:
Material Management, Acquisitions, MILSTRIP, Supply Discrepancy Reporting (WEBSDR), WEBFLIS/FEDLOG, Knowledge of DoD Supply Chain processes and procedures, Advanced experience in FEDLOG research.
Extensive knowledge in interpretation of Aircraft Technical Order Illustrated Parts Breakdowns.
Extensive knowledge in the use of ESS.
Knowledge of DoD Logistics concepts and terminology.
Familiarity with DIFM Control Process (what constitutes a DIFM. Requirements for Turn-in)
Intermediate level knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint.
