Aircraft Modification Supervisor - Team Lead - AC-130J

Description:Lockheed Martin is looking for a C-130J Aircraft Maintenance Team Lead that will be responsible for the Modification of a C-130J platform to an AC-130J Gunship at Bob Sikes Airport in Crestview, Florida. The Team Lead will be responsible for cost, schedule and technical integration. The Team Lead will work closely with the Operations Manager, other Team Leads, Associate Managers, and Aircraft Scheduler(s) to ensure aircraft is delivered on time and within budget. The candidate will provide leadership and technical knowledge to the Group Leads and Technicians to accomplish all aspects of the aircraft modification and testing. The Team Lead will assign daily work assignments (Work Orders), and ensure that each task is completed on schedule and within budget. The Team Lead will coordinate with Structural and Electrical Engineering to resolve any technical problems that may arise during the modification. The position will be responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessments, work assignments, and recognition / disciplinary actions.
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years of experience with operations typical of a heavy electrical aviation modification environment

- Experienced with requirements and compliance with Government and Military aviation maintenance standard .e.g. AS9100 - 8210 - Technical orders and directives, engineering drawings

- Ability to obtain a DoD Security Clearance

- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Must have the ability to work non-standard shifts in support of military special operations objectives
- Ability to motivate teams to achieve goals while also positively impacting employee morale
Desired Skills:
-Ability to Self-sufficiently organize and execute production strategies, manage large personnel team sizes, and work effectively through frequently conflicting priorities
-Military Special Operations customer support experience preferred
-5 Years AC-130J modification / management experience
