Description:We have multiple ET II positions within Lockheed Martin's Special Operations Forces Global Logistics Support Services (SOF GLSS) line of business. This area is growing and has some exciting work going on at our site in Crestview, Florida. Our work includes modifying newly built MC-130J aircraft and converting those into the AC-130J which is the latest C-130 variant of the legendary "Ghostrider" aircraft.
-Presently we are looking for an Aircraft Electrician to join our team in Crestview.
-PAY RATE: $30.24 per hour; plus 401k payout, benefits, medical incentives and more
-The Aircraft Electrician II will assist with installing, clamping, terminating and testing electrical cables/harnesses. The technician will need to have an understanding of C-130J avionics Communications/Navigations, Guidance Control, Electronic Warfare, Electro/Environmental systems. In addition, the Aircraft Electrician will need to be proficient at reading and interpreting manufacturers' maintenance manuals, service bulletins, technical data, engineering data, and other specifications to determine feasibility and a method of removing, installing repairing or replacing damaged wiring, malfunctioning or damaged components. Aircraft Electrician will assist in aircraft launch and recovery, servicing, rigging, jacking, towing; and end-of-runway, post-flight, preflight, and thru-flight inspections. The Electrician will inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain C-130(H/M)J avionic/electrical systems, components, and related equipment. The Electrician will remove and install aircraft components as required, conducts functional tests of components and systems. Possess competent abilities in the use and application of hand tools, power tools, machines, work stands, support equipment and special tools/calibrated test equipment.

Basic Qualifications:
* Minimum four (4) years of avionics experience required in one of the following or equivalent fields, Communications/Navigations, Guidance Control, Electronic Warfare, Electro/Environmental required.
* Strong aptitude to read and interpret aircraft electrical drawings
* Minimum or equivalent of a USAF 7-Level (Craftsman)
* Ability to obtain a secret security clearance and therefore all candidates must be a US Citizen.
Desired Skills:
Heavy modification/integration/repair experience on C-130 aircraft
Proficient in the documentation of AFTO 781 forms
Active Secret Clearance preferred
