The Hypersonic Strike Weapon Systems Production Program is looking for members for their Production Operations team. Hypersonic Strike Weapon Systems Production is responsible for producing end item products for the Conventional Prompt Strike and Long Range Hypersonic Weapon family of programs. CPS is a multi-platform launched weapon system that will include phases progressing through design, flight test, initial production, and deployment of the weapon system. The AI&T Production Operations team is looking for an exceptional Project Engineer to serve to help lead the execution of the Courtland AI&T Programs and it’s business rhythms including with manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will work with the site support functions on manufacturing and production, coordinate engineering issues and changes impacting manufacturing with an eye on engineering best practices. Additionally, this individual may support on the job trainings to ensure appropriate levels of knowledge exist within our manufacturing team.

The Courtland AI&T Project Engineer will support a cross-functional, multi-site production team. This selected individual must be comfortable working in a highly dynamic customer environment, be comfortable working with geographically dispersed teams, and be able to translate dynamic program needs into an actionable plan aligned with the overall objectives of the program. This position will work with the CPS Prod Ops team to meet the hardware delivery milestones that support the CPS production schedule, develop and implement affordability initiatives, and work annual capacity assessments.

Candidates must have an active Secret security clearance (last completed investigation within 6 years) and must be a US citizen.
Basic Qualifications:
• Experience with Scheduling, Fabrication, Assembly, Shortage Control tracking, &/or Procurement
• Experience using SAP
• Program/Project Manufacturing experience
• Secret Security Clearance
Desired Skills:
•Proven and demonstrated leadership, organizational coordination, and communication skills.

• Self-starter requiring minimal supervision capable of clear communication through multiple levels of senior and executive leadership

• Budget management skills
• Experience interfacing with internal and external customers

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
