Description:This position is contingent upon award of contract. This position is to support the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Air Force and Air Defense (AFAD) for 36 months of operations and maintenance support of the EADGE-T system. The candidate will work a standard UAE 40-hour work week, having Fridays and Saturdays off, as well as other AFAD declared holidays (thus matching the AFAD work week).

Lockheed Martin RMS is seeking energized individuals who are passionate about developing the technologies of tomorrow. We have an opportunity for a Systems Engineer in the United Arab Emirates supporting a next generation command and control system.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering/technical discipline from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 20 years or more of professional experience; or 18 years with a related Masters, or 15 years with a related PhD degree.
• Experience with Tactical Data Links, preferably: Link-16 and Link-11
• Experience with secure and reliable networks and network management
• Experience integrating with sensors and weapons, including occasional troubleshooting and reverse engineering
• Experience coordinating engineering teams in the design, development, and testing of complex technical solutions
• Experience applying appropriate standards, processes, procedures and tools throughout the development life cycle
Desired Skills:
• Strong system engineering skills with an emphasis on software-intensive systems and system of systems integration
• Knowledgeable in Air and Missile Defense
• Knowledgeable in operational and tactical Command and Control (C2), ISR, and modeling and simulation
• Experience in international programs, preferably direct commercial sales, firm fixed price
• Often acts independently to uncover and resolve issues associated with the development and implementation of the operational programs
• Familiarity with cyber security and multiple security enclaves
• Experience with fixed and mobile command centers, including supporting coalition / expeditionary operations
• Strong communication skills, including communicating with customers whose first language is Arabic
• The ability to work with the broader RMS and LM team and leverage the capabilities of other sites and organizations will be essential for success in this role
• This role may be required to direct a very diverse and highly skilled set of engineers across various disciplines.
• The position will be responsible for program execution, driving technical and organizational strategy, instilling and maintaining engineering discipline, and enhancing employee experiences
