What We’re Doing
Our Team, the Command and Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) Regional team, is constantly engineering, developing and integrating new capabilities for the U.S. Missile Defense System. Protecting both the United States and its allies. This large, fast paced team, is composed of many small agile teams working together in a dynamic environment with a common mission to develop and deploy leading-edge missile defense technologies.

The Work
Candidate will serve as the Software Product Team, Product Owner for the C2BMC Planner Product Team. Candidate will be responsible for driving value delivery for the Planner application, part of a complex missile defense command and control system. The candidate will perform the following tasks:
- Coordinate stakeholder needs to drive the frequent delivery of value to the customer.
- Coordinate and prioritize needs for multiple Task Orders and products in different phases of development.
- Contribute to the overall C2BMC Program Roadmap.
- Assess progress and report status to Leadership.
- Interface with the customer.
- Manage stakeholder expectations.
- Work with other Product Teams and ARTs to plan and execute C2BMC releases.
- Interface with the Planner Support Cell, Training, Platform & Infrastructure and Technical Leadership Teams and communicate priorities to the Product Team.
- Support preparation and presentation of briefings and demonstrations to customer.
Basic Qualifications:
****DoD Final SECRET Security Clearance (Top Secret Desirable) *****

Bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or related field from an accredited college, with 9 years of professional experience; or 7 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.

Experience leading and managing cross functional teams in the development and integration of large, complex software applications.

Demonstrated experience in performing stakeholder management in a large, complex development program.

Knowledge of Software Integration and formal testing.
Desired Skills:
Proven leadership experience with full life cycle development on large, integrated DoD systems, including requirements development and interpretation, design, implementation and test, fielding and maintenance.

Preferred candidate will have demonstrated experience as either a Software Product Manager or a Software Product Owner.

Preferred candidate will have demonstrated experience specifying customer needs and managing customer priorities.

SAFe Product Manager/Product Owner (PM/PO) certification strongly desired.

The successful candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, have the ability to work independently and will possess the poise and flexibility required to work in a highly dynamic environment.

Occasional travel will be required for this position 10%.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $113,900 - $200,905. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
