Lockheed Martin's Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) is seeking a Software Engineer/Scrum Master (SM) to contribute to the exciting and challenging work of developing the leading-edge global Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) system for the U.S. Missile Defense Agency.

As a C2BMC Planner Product Team Software Engineer, you will engage in software development and design for C2BMC in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

As the C2BMC Planner Scrum Master you will be the SM for 2 product teams, ensuring Agile/Scrum processes are being followed.

Typical responsibilities include:
- Software development in Java
- Software design and testing, operational integration of software subsystems, user and developer support
- Interface with other C2BMC CFPTs to resolve issues, integrate and optimize software

Additionally, provide coaching to the development team in the Scrum Framework.

Basic Qualifications:
*Must currently possess a Secret DoD security clearance to be considered for this position*

- Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree

- Experience with Java and basic software practices, including automated testing, coding standards and configuration management

- Experience developing Java applications on Unix/Linux platforms

- Experience developing software in a structured, process-based integrated team environment

- Use of common software development and management tools such as GitLab, Jenkins and Eclipse

- Prior Scrum Master experience in a SAFe Environment

- Experience using Agile Lifecycle Management tools (e.g. Jira, VersionOne, Rally, etc.)

- IAT Level II Certification (Security+ or equivalent) required within 60 days of start
Desired Skills:
- Tool Familiarity: git, Nexus, JIRA, Confluence, maven or Gradle, Eclipse

- Experience with server side/database development and computer system administration

- Understanding of standard system engineering design artifacts such as Use Cases and SysML diagrams

- Experience working as part of an Agile product team
- Good verbal and written communication skills

- Flexibility and willingness to take on unanticipated tasking

- Command and control system application development

- Automated test and pipeline development experience desired; test driven development

- Previous experience with message translation software

- Prior experience designing and developing microservices and deploying with containers; experience setting up a container environment for development, integration and deployment

- Strong problem solving skills, including the ability to review performance issues, identify root cause, recommend and develop a solution

- Experience with Risk Management Framework / STIG / Fortify mitigation

- Experience developing software for Unix/Linux and Windows platforms

- Experience with Software Integration testing including developing automated test scripts

- Strong problem solving skills, including the ability to review performance issues, identify root cause, recommend and develop a solution

Scrum Certification: CSM, PSM I, PMI-ACP or equivalent

- Working knowledge of MS Office products
