We are searching for a Senior Software Engineer to join our extraordinary team. In this role you will work as part of a team developing critical software to help modernize the US Land-based Strategic Missile force, in Colorado Springs, CO.

Some of your day to day responsibilities will include:

•Designs, develops, documents, tests, and debugs software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business/mission problems or questions in computer language for solutions by means of data processing equipment

•Design new HMI software using OpenGL graphics libraries

•Applies the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle

•Applies knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business/mission applications, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to develop software

•Correct program errors, prepares operating instructions, compiles documentation of program development, and analyzes system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls

•Ensures software standards are met

•Being organized, disciplined, detail oriented, innovative, self-starter, results-oriented and willing to work with minimal supervision

We are looking for someone with demonstrated successful team and relationship building skills across multiple organizational boundaries. You would be someone who identifies as a self-starter with excellent problem solving skills. This includes proven interpersonal skills with both experts and non-experts. You should also thrive in a dynamic, inter-disciplinary, environment.

The anticipated program award date is second quarter 2019. All offers of employment will be contingent based upon contract award.

The anticipated program award date is second quarter 2019. All offers of employment will be contingent based upon contract award.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Systems, Software Engineering, or related degree
• You will multi-task in a dynamic and fast-paced environment and be able to analyze operational and organizational concepts, requirements, models, architectures, workflows and associated tasks.
• This role requires special access to support the program and requires you to be a US Citizen
Desired Skills:
• Experience in "C" Programming
• Experience in real-time systems
• Micro-processor and/or embedded programming skills
• Richland Technologies OpenGL
• Device drivers & firmware development
• ADA, C++
• Familiarity with the Minuteman III ICBM System
• Must be proficient in the C language, and have some real-time programming experience.
